I sat at a table on the ground floor and my table was super wobbly so I moved to upstairs where 2 more tables were so wobbly that I witnessed a man lose his coffee to the table teetering to the side as he placed his coffee on the table. My food was brought to me but not my drink and when I asked about it, she just said I'm supposed to get it myself at the bar (i was not told this at the register). What's the point of you bringing my food if you can't also bring the drink? So then I had to walk back downstairs to grab my drink and then back upstairs. One bagel with lox, one latte, and one drip coffee cost me 19 bucks. The toasted bagel was somehow wet on its own (before I put the cream cheese and lox on it). The atmosphere is too eclectic. I should give 2 stars but the actual taste of my latte and food portion sizes was really good. I would only go back if they fix the tables and let people know they have to get their own...
Read moreI cannot recommend this place enough. We passed this pub and cafe many times in lieu of other Mass st favorites but finally come in for a post dinner cocktail and man, was that a good choice! Their cocktail menu is well balanced including top tier products across the spectrum - gin, vodka, tequila, bourbon, etc. French 1972 is on point. Pineapple jalapeno margarita is excellent. The staff members we've encountered were kind and engaging....made us feel like we were regulars right away. We tried the burger on our last visit and holy cow, it was perfection....juicy, crispy edges and well seasoned, all the veggies fresh....so good! Can't wait to...
Read moreHip local coffee shop with a bike shop attached. Interesting and unique concept with a lot of space for both bikes and the coffee shop. We were there in the morning and had a breakfast burrito, egg sandwich and a BLT with egg. All were delicious and well prepared. We also had an Americano, a Cappuccino and a latte and all passed with flying colors. Interesting tidbit is that Valteri Bottas, a Formula One driver, visited this place while competing in a bike race held in Lawrence. He will probably continue to visit for as long as he competes in the race which happened to be held the weekend before the Formula One...
