Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg

I was at a local warehouse waiting all day(from 09:30 to 20:00) to pick up my load for my truck. I used the app to order my supper. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter, $11.95, includes 2 fish, 6 shrimp 2 sides (coleslaw and fries) and hush puppies. I also ordered an extra piece of fish and requested Krum. I had to drop my trailer to go off duty and drive the tractor to their location. I picked up my order and returned to the warehouse as I was still waiting for a dock door. I then hooked back up to my trailer before opening the box of fish and shrimp. There was NO SHRIMP! There was NO COLESLAW. There wasn't even any Krum....non!! When I called to complain they wanted me to drive the truck (18 wheeler mind you) or disconnect again and bobtail back to the store for my shrimp. I stopped in to my local Long John Silver's this afternoon. It had been a while since I'd been in. The first thing I noticed was that there were more people coming in than there used to be. When I got inside, I saw they have new grilled offerings along with the usual fried foods. I tried the grilled salmon and shrimp platter with green beans and slaw. The shrimp was okay, and the salmon was good, but dry. If there's a way to do what they're doing, and retain some of the juiciness of the salmon and shrimp, it'd be great. Overall, I was pleased with the addition of the grilled items. Knowing I have a healthier choice will surely bring me back more often. The only real drawback today was the slaw. They've changed the flavor of the slaw, and I can't wait for them to change it back. Keep the changes coming, LJS. I definitely think you're on the right track. I don't like to give anyone poor reviews. There were 4 in our group, only one could finish their meal. The fish and hush puppies were so saturated with grease it was sickening. I had corn as a side and all I tasted was water. It was cold and seemed like it was just soaking in water for a really long time. Unfortunately at least 2 of the employees are not well educated on what they serve. My wife asked about the rice. "What type of rice is it?" reply - "I don't know, but it's seasoned." the cashier then asked another employee, "what type of rice do we have," I don't know, it's seasoned, and it has carrots in it.
