Stopped here around 8:45 and ordered a loaded potato combo, 4 tenders, and a large Dr Pepper. After I pulled around I paid and was handed a Dr Pepper that was spilled on the outside of the cup. Very sloppy but no one is surprised. The surprise is I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for my food. While Im waiting I can see the employees playing and laughing. One guy is standing there talking to a heavy set female while he waves a black styrofoam plate back and forth. He stops for a minute, appears to batter up food on the same plate he was just waving freely in the air. Then the girl that originally took my order walks over to the window and tells me to pull up because the tenders will be fresh and that there are 2 more cars after me- as if im the reason they are waiting.
They were waiting because the employees stood there and talked, laughed, and played instead of dropping the tenders when the order was originally placed. They were waiting just like I waited. Im not understanding the emphasis on those customers WAITING being more important than me WAITING for the same SERVICE and FOOD that those customers paid to have- just like I did. My food wasn't free. And this wasn't a discounted service or meal.
After telling the employee I would wait she became visibly angry and stormed over to the same heavy set lady that was standing and talking with the male employee that was supposed to be cooking my tenders. She walks up to the window repeating the same nonsense about me pulling up. When I asked her if the guy that was playing around with the black styrofoam plate was cooking my food she said YES. When I told her to just give me the loaded potato, suddenly there's a change in price.
Ive included a pic of their loaded potato and both receipts. I ordered the $8.99 combo and upgraded to a large. Because he was standing there playing over my food and I didn't want it- I was charged $6.99 for a loaded potato and separately for a large drink ($2.59). According to their logic, 4 chicken tenders is worth $0.12 or either I was supposed to accept the unprofessional guy literally waving the plate in the air then battering my food up on it. If she is supposed to be a manager she can't say she didn't see him playing with the plate. They were facing each other while talking and laughing.
I hope the owners review their cameras and policies so that this is the last time this happens. Review your cameras from 4/12/25 8:45pm until 8:54pm and tell me would you have accepted food presented to you under those same circumstances. Also review how I was charged for their issues. They need to be held accountable including the supposed to be manager.
By the way, the loaded baked potato normally is good and the butter comes in small containers where you can add as much/little as you prefer. This loaded potato was drenched in butter. Im not interested in having heart disease. The dr pepper taste like it was made or is stored near vegetable oil. The flavor isn't normal at all. The best part about this meal...
Read moreSo I love bbq in general and the loaded baked potato with pulled pork is usually my go to. It's big, I usually get two meals out of it plus it's gluten intolerance friendly (yay) but I decided to try something new this week and majorly regretted it. I got the salad with the meat in a separate container since it was hot and I couldn't eat it until I got home. That way it wouldn't make the salad get gross. I was pretty bummed when I opened it and saw that not only was there barely any toppings but the salad was so limp, sad and borderline wet. Think about when you have a bagged salad in your fridge that you forget about a couple days after expiration. That was my lettuce. I was already home, it was really hot out and I was not about to make a 45 minutes round trip drive with 4 kids to go back to town and get something else so I begrudgingly ate it. They gave two packets of dressing with it and the meat itself was good but that's about it. I guess I'll continue to get my usual baked potato. You would think for $8 you could at least get decent lettuce. They have normally delicious (but spendy for fries) seasoned crinkle cut fries but are having supply issues and just have regular fries currently and their wait times in the drive thru can be pretty high. I honestly wish they would do a loaded seasoned fry with everything on it like their loaded potato that would be amazing. I haven't tried their cobbler because of the wheat but I will say their ice cream cup and very reasonable at 99¢ and have multiple flavors you can swirl in. You can get 1 or 2 flavors mixed into the vanilla ice cream. My favorites are the green apple or orange. My kids like the strawberry or caramel and say the chocolate...
Read moreThe ham is amazing! Wish yall would hurry up & build a place in Chattanooga, TN. No one there does what you do & I know it would be a hit! However, whenever I leave the drive through I always check my order to make sure it's actually ham. I have pulled away more than twice & got pulled pork not ham. I'm usually taking a LARGE amount back to Chattanooga with me & have been very disappointed to find out I have 5 lbs of pulled pork, NOT Ham. Today I ordered a picnic pack for my family here in Lawrenceburg & 4 lbs of ham to take back to friends at work. Sigh! I asked for the 4 lbs to be broken down & NOT placed in a large pan. Not only did I get the 4 lbs in a pan. But they put the ham for the picnic in it as well. So the 1st thing I have to do when I get to my mother's house is separate it up. Not like I didn't SPECIFICALLY ASK for it to be split up or anything, I did. It's just the hassle of the whole thing that they don't listen well in the drive through. But hey, I got ham this time,...
