This was my family of five second time here, and the experiences couldn't have been more different. Last time we went after church and it wasn't busy. The wait for food was a bit long but our food was good. That experience made us come back.
Today my family arrived around 1:45 and they had more customers, but we were seated almost immediately. The staff was all young, even a seemingly pre-teen aged girl. While ordering, I asked the waitress if I ordered the house salad, would it come out before my food so I could eat while the entrée was being prepared. She replied yes.
Unfortunately, the wait for food was even longer this time and I didn't receive my salad during the wait. Our server seemed to be distracted and we had to constantly flag someone down. At one point, the guy clearing another table overheard my husband debating on getting up to get her and the guy went and got another waitress.
The food was another letdown—lukewarm, poorly seasoned, and definitely not fresh. It felt like a completely different restaurant from my first visit. I was definitely disappointed in my $35 lamb chops with garlic herb sauce. They were tough, like a well-done steak. They brought out the meal without the garlic herb sauce, which is literally in the name. So I asked for the sauce because I ordered the exact same meal as last time and know it comes on the meat. She never returned. This is when the guy grabbed another waitress attention. It took about another 10-12 minutes to get the sauce and my lukewarm chops were now cold.
I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the inconsistency is a dealbreaker for me. I also mentioned to our waitress the issue and she apologized. However, I would've liked her to own the situation and communicate that she would use this as a training experience to be better.
Maybe I caught them on an off day, but consistency is key for any...
Read more7/7/2024 Update: Since the restaurant wants to respond over a month later with a fictitious response I dropped their rating to a 1 star. You don't even know who we are and want to accuse us of wanting free food ... That's how low you're willing to go to try to recover from a terrible experience for us. You just made it worse - congrats! And to think that I was being fair with what I wrote.... Shame....
Nicely located in a plaza with a newer ambiance. Quickly seated by friendly staff. The coffee is subpar as expected but came out very hot with a bowl of fixed flavor creamers. We ordered the dulce de leches waffles with "smoked chicken" and the pancake breakfast platter. We waited 45 minutes for our food to come out. I could tell they were avoiding us because they were behind in the kitchen. My waffles were room temperature and they forgot my chicken. The pancakes were nothing exquisite. The waitress came back to ask if everything came out alright and then she asked what meat I ordered and she went to get it. There was nothing "smoked" about the chicken. It was obvious they forgot the chicken and they grilled the chicken quickly to get it out to me. The flavor of the chicken was great but I was already halfway through my waffles by that time.
Tip: if you notice that they have multiple 5+ parties in their restaurant when you arrive, don't stay. This seemed like the reason they were behind for everyone. Unfortunately 2 other tables had issues with their orders and 1 of them had items deducted from their bill.
We are out of state folks so we won't be returning if we come back to this area.

Read moreThis morning after having a doctors procedure me and my husband went for a bite to eat that we have never been. There was a sign stating there will be a 50 cent surcharge on eggs. We were told to have a seat anywhere because it was empty atmosphere intimate. After the waitress was done helping she handed us the menus and ask what we wanted to drink being that we didnt know she rushed us and said she just bring us waters and we look over the menu ..cool she took another table order came back and i was having small talk and asked why was it a surcharge on the eggs and if so because eggs are in french toast would i be charged. She rudely answered you stressing over the eggs surcharge it will not be applied on french toast just other dishes ots plenty of other things to be stress about besides a 50 cent surcharge i said no i just wanted clarification because french toast has egg custard If i was rude i could have said clearly you guys are stressing because almost every dish has eggs on it and your charging and extra fee but i didnot. She then asked what did we want to drink again because she didnt bring the water she rushed off to get that she didn't and said well you didnt ask for the water i was just bringing it do you want something to drink. By her tone which was pleasant when we came in to when she was being smart and had no customer service when she was talking we didnt get a chance to dine in.
