Firehouse Subs Sugarloaf — Restaurant in Georgia

Came here to grab a sandwich and the loaded potato soup. I am a frequent patron of Firehouse and they are a usual go to here by my job in Suwanee. On Sunday I stopped by this one because its close to my home and ordered the same thing. sandwich and loaded potato soup. Luckily my family had to go across the street for a few items at Publix. I decided to sit in the car to enjoy my food while they shopped. The loaded potato soup was almost mashed potatoes. It had the consistency of potato salad. Since I was just across the street I went back while the family still shopped in Publix and tried to return the soup. I even turned the soup upside down to show the employee, "Charlie" that that was NOT the consistency that I usually get from Firehouse. I also googled the image of the soup to show but the response was, "That's always the way our soup is sir" with a condescending tone. I have filed a complaint because that was unacceptable. Not saying that the customer is ALWAYS right but this particular incident the proof was in the soup. I was highly disappointed as potato soup is one of my favorites from this establishment. Ugh! They weren’t busy but there were only two workers, so I’m assuming they were understaffed! There were two other customers besides myself in the store & I believe they were such in a rush to get the orders completed that they weren’t paying attention to what they put on the sandwiches. A younger staff member was at the register taking orders and an older gentleman was the one making the sandwiches. However, the older gentleman would leave from behind the sandwich making section to ask me what I wanted before the you get man - working at the register could (but without writing it down). Therefore, my order was not prepared as I wanted it. Instead of getting a cold club on wheat involved with no onions added jalapeños, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, black olives and Cajun mustard. Absolutely awful. Did an online order - for a single sub, was supposed to be ready at 2:40p. I arrive and I finally receive my order at 3:05p - 25 minutes after the time I was supposed to. Frustrated enough, I left and went to eat my lunch. I bite into my sandwich and discover it was made completely wrong. Missing items that I paid extra for. Walk back over, employee takes the sandwich from me, opens the box, puts the missing items back on my sandwich and hands it back to me and begins making other customers sandwiches. Did not change his gloves, did not follow any DPH regulations when handling food a customer has handled.
