I never in my life thought there would be a better burger than In N outs Double Doubles. Until today… I came in very skeptical because i have spoken to multiple Oklahomans who have called Braum’s “SOLID”. This place has absolutely PHENOMENAL FOOD! The very first thing i tried was their Braum’s sauce which had an exquisite flavor similar to Canes sauce but lighter and it had a spicy undertone too it that did not overwhelm the tongue. As soon as i bit into the burger i was immediately taken back by the flavor. It reminded me of a homemade burger your dad would make for you as a kid at a cookout in the summer or on a special occasion. Absolute nostalgia and pride in being an American. Small town burger but made big waves on my taste buds. The fries were nothing short of perfect, crispy, freshly made to order and the perfect amount of salt. I also had a spicy chicken sandwich that tasted like a gas station sandwich in the BEST WAY. The chicken was fresh, perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection the entire thing provided a flavor that overwhelmed the senses and made me sink in my seat. To top my visit off i noticed they had mexican flavors of ice cream i thought was really cool. I had the Piñon flavored ice cream that paired perfectly with my meal. This place is definitely a 5/5!
On a side note, i heard rumors of there being a soldier here on Fort Sill that was an Adamant WHATABURGER Missionary who swore they had the best burger. Well someone ended up taking him to Braum’s for the first time and he was hooked like squidward in the episode he had his first krabby patty. The soldier would have Braum’s 4 times a week. 2 times daily. They say he would go to work and have Braum’s for lunch then go home and pretend he didnt eat lunch that day just so he could take his WIFE AND CHILD there...
Read moreAfter waiting a few minutes at the order box, my order was finally taken. I got 2 small cups of orange sherbet and 2 doubles in a cone of cookie dough. We went to the first window and paid and when I looked at the receipt, I was overcharged and it said I had gotten 5 burgers. I waited at the window and waved my hand a few times, then I knocked a few times, then I had to honk my horn a few times just to get the cashiers attention. I told him the issue and he got my card and closed the window and went to get who I assume is his supervisor. After standing at the register behind the window for another minute, the new guy sent me all the way up past the 2nd window to wait at the gate for my order. After another few minutes, a worker brought out 4 cones (only supposed to be 2 cones) and every single one of them were dripping everywhere all over his hands and then all over mine in the car. I asked him to get me 2 cups as 2 of them were supposed to be anyways and he comes back a minute later with the cups, my card and my new receipt all covered and sticky with orange sherbet on it. The whole ride home melted ice cream went all over my car because of the screw up. 0/10 experience and will not...
Read moreThis Braums has gone down hill dramatically. I used to eat here all the time. I would get a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo. The sandwich comes with ketchup already. I quit going because they started only putting like one or two small pieces of lettuce and drowning the sandwich in ketchup. It would leak from the sides from above and below the chicken. Like a year after I quit going I thought I would try it out again but it's just the same. I've tried a couple times since then hoping it was just a one time thing. They even do that with the burgers. And the burger I got wasn't even the burger I ordered. I'd decided they were only good for their breakfast except I went yesterday and got a double order of biscuits and gravy. The lady handed me the bag and the tray was tilted and 1/4 of the gravy had seeped out and when I got home the gravy was too watery and almost no sausage. The only sausage in the gravy was tiny crumby bits. The only good part about this Braums...
