I just ordered in the drive thru, first thing I thought was odd was the person waiting to take an order was just standing there staring at me, I said "hey" to initiate the whole order taking process, like maybe they were spacing out and just needed a jump start but nah, they just said hey and went back to spacing out. I said hey again and laughed a bit cause I thought that was weird, but homie didn't hear me the second time and just said "what was that.." Then before I could repeat myself a different person cut in and started taking my order, I was planning on ordering a few things but after every one thing I ordered, they immediately give me my total, sending the order through their system, giving me a total of 3 diff orders, the first one got cancelled, the second wasn't cancelled I assume only because the same kid that was spacing out initially came back to my car so I could pay for it, and the third one is the one I paid for before i drove off to pick-up. During the order taking process, the person taking my order was starting conversations with other employees at the same time, resulting in them not hearing that I wanted larges for my whole order. And i get it, judging from the fact they said " you were supposed to take the order, I was off a minute ago" I could only assume they were off a minute ago and weren't looking to do extra work and was looking to head home, but since that was their main concern could with the fact that somebody else came out and blurted " oh. That's bad.." and in the persons mind that was taking my order, I could assume that's what was on their mind. When I got my order I was a little annoyed it wasnt a large, but I'm a big boy I can handle a little less sodie pop once in a while.
But my gripe here is this, I work in the food service industry and I hear people taking orders like this all throughout the day.... Don't assume the person is done ordering. Ask "what else can I get for you" it can lead to..
A bigger sale, it's doesn't effect you paychecks but it makes you look good when you can rack in the most sales
It leads the guest experience in a way where you'll get your answer, do they want more or are they done ordering.
To the person taking my order I get it, I've been there, you worked your shift and you just want to leave, but now you've got to pick up the slack for someone else and your their for another 10 -15 mins, but please for the sake of accuracy just focus for those last two minutes it would've taken to complete my order instead of doing all that assuming. I have no excuses for the kid just staring into the ether, greeting people while holding an order pad.. as the great philosopher Troy Bolten said "U gotta. Get'cha get'cha head in the game. We gotta. Get our, get our, get our, get our head...
Read moreI would say, maybe I've just been spoiled at other locations, but I used to come here regularly and looked forward to the stop because of not only the food, but the great service accompanied by an amazing attitude. The wait was not long at all, and if it was I would understand being the only location in town thats easy to access, and has a drive thru. Yesterday and today moods just seemed a bit gloomy to say the least besides maybe one or two employees, that I didnt have the pleasure of interacting with one on one, but instead overheard/saw them behind the scense.
As far as food goes my one actual big complaint, yesterday (I called and told a manager and he said he was new in management, but he would try to fix it) I ordered a fruit cup all strawberries because my daughter wont eat any of the other fruits, so why waste them. We get back home and there is literally ONE strawberry cut into FOUR pieces, now i dont know about you but thats certainly NOT enough as a side order for what is it, $2??? This is where I guess Ive been spoiled at other establishments because they replace other fruits with the strawberries, the whole point I ask for strawberries only...FF to today, I mention it to the young lady outside taking orders and she really tlld me that it goes by weight and whatever strawberries are in there is what they are supposed to give....by weight would mean that if the particular fruit cup is not so manh ounces PER CUP (not per fruit) fruit needs to be added until it reaches that amount 🤨🤨....aside from that the chicken and tortillas (the last two days) have been extremely dry and your tots ridiculously greasy....
Honestly I despise complaining all together and most of the time wouldnt say anything juat tk save hastle....but qhen I look forward to going to an establishment because you start my day with a wonderful mood and delicious food and then when I get it seems very little effort was put in on all accounts is disappointing and not a great start to the day jn general regardless of where Im going. I hope these things do get addressed and if not sorry for all the people paying $2 for ONE strawberry and the glum way their day is beginning....I noticed not one of the recent reviews have been responded to, good or bad which also speaks volumes about not just the establishment itself, but the management within.
Thank you for you...
Read moreThis is by far the least Chick-Fil-A of any Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. Unfortunately it's my "home town" CFA given having to live here for the last three years. I've lived in CA, AZ, NC, TX, MA and OK, while visiting other states over the years and have had amazing experiences/visits. But OK, and this location in particular, just falls short of what you expect a CFA visit to be. Whether it be the lackidasial staff not bothering to take your order when you're the only person in the store, while half a dozen employees talk about a variety of things (from interviews for other jobs, to music) before getting to you, to the insanely over checking in to you once you do have your meal (Think Dutch Bros, but once you have your food), it's just a weird spot. Then there's the seemingly permanent management(?) meetings going on no matter what time of the day you visit this store with their laptops out taking multiple tables away from customers to sit at, especially so during lunch hours. Then they took the kids area away, still not having brought it back even years after the covid pandemic has... passed. This store is in dire need of a new (or one in general) event coordinator, as well. It's just a bad run store, top to bottom. I'm sorry but this is not what a...
