I thought I would try this place for the first time ever since it just opened up right next to me, so I went through on a Saturday morning about 10:30 a.m. there was a bit of a line but that's fine it's expected it's a Saturday morning rush. After placing my order for one sandwich it took 26 minutes to get to the window. Once I was at the window I asked if there was more wait? The window attendant turned to his coworker and asked and they had not started making the sandwich yet so I left. I think we all understand that fast food places can have lack of staff, equipment issues, rushes etc... but you should train your staff to answer the window with a smile in a greeting instead of hey what's up did you order this? Another great customer service pro tip would be to immediately thank the people for their patience and they will have their food soon. I decided to go two doors down to Paris Baguette and was in and out in 5 minutes, the staff was very polite and were smiling the whole time asking how they could help anybody and everybody, great service. I would wait a bit before going to Einstein Bagels in Leander, it looks like they need some time to get settled in and develop their training and processes. I probably won't ever go try a Einstein Bagel now because I feel like the customer service just isn't there, no idea how the food is nor will I probably...
Read moreEinstein Bros. Bagels has a solid selection of bagels and spreads, but my recent visit left me with mixed feelings.
I ordered a half-dozen bagels expecting them to be fresh, sliced, and toasted – but none of that happened. I was told that if you order 6 or more, they don’t slice or toast them, which really should be made clearer when ordering. The bagels were also not warm, which made the experience feel more like grocery-store pickup than a bagel shop visit.
On top of that, the service was noticeably slow. Even with just a few people ahead of me, it took quite a while to get the order. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the pace didn’t match the usual morning rush efficiency you’d expect at a breakfast spot.
That said, the bagel flavors were still enjoyable – I especially liked the Everything and Asiago – and the shmears are always great. But between the slow service, lack of toasting/slicing, and lukewarm product, I’m not sure it’s worth the wait unless you’re just grabbing a single bagel to go.
Einstein Bros. has potential, but some improvements in speed and transparency would...
Read moreMan my girlfriend has been so excited for this location to open as we just moved in the area. Every time we passed by she would get excited about the progress it was making and even better it was on the way to work!
Yesterday she saw a sign that said “now open” and was so excited to wake up early and go to Einsteins!
We get there, nobody is there to help us. It’s very uninviting and just a sorry example of a business at any stage in operation. We finally get a bagel and it was the worst bagel we had ever had from Einsteins.
Such a disappointment, not only did you make my girlfriend upset and low key ruined her day. But the excitement of going to Einsteins in the mornings is gone for the moment. She is a teacher so she finds joy in a good breakfast before class starts.
This store needs to close and clear room for businesses that will actually take opening a store and their customers seriously. Such a...
