My mom, sister and I dined at Doc's on 5/12 for the Girls' Night Out event. Even with a limited menu, they didn't seem prepared for the volume of guests. The best things about the visit were the location and the server. My mom and sister ordered the fried chicken sandwich but were able to get it grilled. I ordered the tilapia sandwich without tarter. After waiting about a half hour, the server apologized and said "We're backed up." We over heard that same statement said to multiple tables. After waiting more than 45 minutes, both pieces of chicken were very tough and couldn't be eaten. The fish was too done and not flavorful and came with tarter. I had to eat it off the sandwich. All fries were cold. We also overheard them say they were out of celery and the only fish on the menu, tilapia. Although they had feta cheese, my sister was told she couldn't have any on a salad "because it's portioned out for other dishes." The manager was kind enough to take off the two chicken sandwiches. Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. We went last night it was awful sat down nobody took our drink order and we sat there for 20 mins. Watched who was the owner or manager drinking at bar when we came in we knows this because we she kept telling us for 15 mins they had a table for us. The people next to us after we said they haven’t even taken our drink order said we waited an hour for appetizers. The one girl said I ordered a salad and an hour later I don’t have it. We got left as we left the couple we believed who were talking to the servers aka owners or managers were still drinking at bar. A person in our party let the woman know the table is now open and why the woman said let me get you a drink the guy”just go ahead and leave then” we left went to the Black Horse tavern sat down had a drink in less than two minutes of sitting down had a great meal and music even though they are remodeling!!! Will never go back to this...

The real hero for me was the heart attack burger, no onion rings. It came with the burger flowing over the edge of the bun I had to take a bite before I could snap a picture it looked so good. The flavors really come together on this one, almost a candied bacon, bar-b-q thing going on there. It's fresh not frozen meat patty, didn't look hand pressed or smashed, just an honest 'patty'.
I would have liked a double patty honestly it was so good, and the battered fries are great. I look for these everywhere I go and it seems they change them out for something else, so I'm glad to see them here. I'm not a 'fry' guy, but I ate...
