Little Pancho's Express — Restaurant in Lebanon

I do not usually like to review a restaurant so soon after it opens but this one is an exception. My wife an I both had a very good experience. Since this location has always been fast food, that is what I was expecting. It is a full service "express" restaurant with a drive thru. We were immediately seated in a very comfortable booth by our excellent server, Fernando.

I really enjoy fajitas and they were the lunch special for $9.99 and my wife ordered the Quesadilla Fajita Style for $8.99. As usual for Mexican restaurants we were started off with chips and salsa. The chips were very crispy and there were three styles of salsa which all were very tasty. None of which were overly spicy.

So far, not much different from any of the other Mexican restaurants in Lebanon, TN. Don't get me wrong, all of the Mexican Restaurants in Lebanon are good and we have dined there many times. However, IMHO, this was a step above. When I order a steak, I really like it rare, but with a nice char or the outside. The char is what gives it that great flavor. This is the way the fajitas came on a sizzling platter. OH my, the aroma! I had the beef and chicken combo and it was cooked to perfection. The flavor was out of this world. I have never had any that were better than these. I must say that I was surprised. Neither my wife or myself could eat all that was served so we had another nice dinner the next night too! My wife felt the same way about her quesadilla. The chicken was very tender just like my beef and chicken. All at a very reasonable price point!

I know food reviews can be very subjective, but, I don't think you will be disappointment with...

I have never wrote a review before. I usually go here twice a month and spend upwards of $50+. Today I was very disappointed after spending $52. I don't mind waiting for food, especially if it's good and fresh. I waiting a good minute just to think my burrito was missing. Come to find out, it wasn't... It was in a brown bag where they put the chips in. I usually pay for queso. Chips and salsa come with the meal. So when he said my burrito is in the bag, I said okay. I was still missing a rice and beans. He then had an attitude giving me the rice and beans. I drive home to realize I was missing the chips. I called the number and some woman answered at a party with a noisy background. Instead of giving me the number to contact them, she decides to argue with me on what meal comes with what. I know chips comes with salsa! I eventually get the number and after I explain what happened... Yes I was upset but didn't yell, they hung up on me! Wow. My husband drove back up there for the chips. My husband brought me in here for the first time recently and I was SO impressed. When you first step into the doors you can tell this place is CLEAN. Me gusta. 😍 It SHINES. The decor and details put into this cozy little restaurant are gorgeous and beautifully coordinated. I loved the art in there. Then, the service we had was lovely. We had a male waiter and he was so friendly and patient and helpful. He was attentive and polite. And also, the waiter appeared very clean and his hands and nails I noticed were very clean.😂 made me feel better, ok. As you wait you get chips and salsas, some spice level varieties. I liked that little touch. We also ordered some queso and theirs was particularly well flavored. I ordered Hawaiian fajitas, husband got some authentic style tacos. Both were SO GOOD. Also ordered a quesadilla for our daughter and had no complaints. Over all the appearance, flavor and portions of the food were perfect. Great little Sunday lunch experience. 10/10 little spot.
