I was given less than 1oz of sauce for four adult sized tenders. That’s about 7ml of liquid per tender. I’m not sure if this is a flaw of the person who poured the sauce, stingy management, or stingy corporate.
Regardless, you shouldn’t be wasting your money if this location is going to do paying customers dirty like that.
The meal was advertised to come with a sauce. I was able to ration the sauce for two tenders. I couldn’t even taste it, so the sauce became redundant despite being advertised. The chicken was cut very thin and was probably portioned by weight. Frying thin meat is different than frying thick meat. Combined with a thick and crispy breading or crust results in a dry experience. Sauce undoes dry. So now we are talking about a lack of an advertised item, dry food with no remedy due to lack of item, and a bad taste to the food. (See below for more information on the taste)
A normal, basic meal deserves its advertised items. To make it worse, I got a fancy, limited time pecan crusted meal.
I’m not even upset that the tenders tasted like burnt cardboard. I wouldn’t have even been able to notice how horrible they tasted if I was given an appropriate amount of sauce.
I could have attempted to complain and obtain more sauce had I dined in or picked up. Unfortunately, this location offers delivery as an option and customers cannot have the rest of their sauce delivered as a second delivery. That means you get one opportunity to get an order right. If you offer delivery, provide food as advertised. Close down the delivery if you cannot fill a 2oz cup with sauce until you can improve basic skills or policy. Sometimes quantity is the quality when we lack the items included in a meal. This company is far from fine dining, but I don’t think I’m crazy for expecting the bbq sauce that was advertised with the special pecan crusted chicken tenders. 7ml of sauce is not a condiment. It’s not even a seasoning. Raise your price $0.50 if you cannot afford to give sauce with your cardboard chicken tenders. Don’t offer a condiment and pretend to include it.
I don’t expect great tasting food from corporate restaurants that have noticeably reduced their quality over the last decade, but I expect to receive more than 7ml of sauce when I order a nugget.
FYI, tenders are bigger than nuggets. I honestly eat more than 1oz of sauce.
If this location cares to improve, I would suggest 1oz per tender as a normal serving. That means two l, full 2oz cups. Kids get one cup. Adults get two cups. I didn’t even get half of a cup. Do not respond with an offer to give me sauce if I visit again. Just improve for the other people who spend their hard-earned money at...
Read moreREAD BEFORE YOU EAT HERE!! This was our second time at this particular location, and it was horrible!! Our last visit, the food was amazing and so was the service! The drinks and food were delivered promptly, and were excellent! It was an afternoon meal!
Yesterday we decided we would take our daughter and grandchildren to dinner! Our server was very friendly and prompt to our table to take our request for drinks and appetizers. She delivered the bread to our table, took our drink and request for chips/salsa! Upon delivery of our chips, she indicated that our drinks from the bar may take a few MORE minutes. But she said she ask the bartender to please attend to our order quickly. This was strange due to we were one of only three tables with customers there when we arrived. The total customers at these tables were only 6 people, 2 per table. And when I took my grandson to the restroom, there were only 3 people at the bar!
Our drinks finally arrived almost 20 after ordering and arrived right before our food! That’s 20 minutes for drinks, 2 kids hamburgers, chicken Cesar salad, a cheddar bacon hamburger and cajun chicken Alfredo linguine!
My wives cheddar bacon hamburger taste like the hamburger was old or freezer burnt and wasn’t edible. As well as the children’s! I personally tasted them, and told them not to eat them. My cajun chicken Alfredo linguine was cold. The menu advertised roasted or cooked onions and peppers, but they were raw! I couldn’t finish my meal either!
Our waitress came by a few minutes after delivering our food, and asked if we needed anything else? We said yes, another round of drinks, and more napkins. Approximately 10 minutes later, our waitress came by and said that she’s trying to get the bartender to make our drinks. So it’ll be a few more minutes.
After about 15 minutes of trying to eat the awful food and still no drinks, I walk to the bar area. I said to the bartender, “If those are two margaritas and a bloody Mary, cancel them”! It seemed she was more interested in amusing the 3 gentlemen at the bar area than she was in making our drinks.
We took the family to another restaurant to eat. There the service and food was FANTASTIC! READ BEFORE YOU EAT HERE!!!!!

A friend and i went to O'charleys today at 923 bell rd antioch tn . We arrived at 11:40 sat at our table for 15 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. Finally the waiter came and took our drink order. After waiting another 10 minutes with no drinks or bread, i finally asked for the manager. At this point i explained everything to the manager and he said he would make sure he got us taken care of, but with no apologies, which i thought was odd. We then waited another 10 minutes to have our order taken. After about 30 minutes we were given 3 bread rolls. When our orders finally came out, we asked for some more bread rolls to go with our meal only to wait another 10 minutes for more rolls..... Finally i got up and asked Dennis Greer, the store manager, if he could help...... He told me they were making more rolls, as i was sitting there watching the waitresses carry out rolls to other tables. Again, no apologies, and no offer to personally get the bread rolls for us. Instead i watched him clear a couple tables. Finally our bread rolls came and at this point they had to get me a new soup cause mine was cold. Also, our drinks were never refilled, nor were we asked if we would like tgem refilled, and our table had no silverware, so we had to wait on that as well. The manager brought us the bill....no discounts and no apologies. This the first time ive ever posted a negative review, or any review for that matter on any restaurant, but in this case, because i felt like the staff i dealt with were so unprofessional and so untrained in dealing with people, i felt like i should say something. Ive always loved Ocharleys, but I will never eat at this particular store location ever again. It was the worst eating experience...
