I loved it. What a wonderful place, and it is the real deal when it comes to icecream. Custard style ice cream has a very high milk fat content - 10%, well above normal US ice cream and Gelato (6%), so it never freezes rock hard hence "custard". But it is the creamiest, smoothest, most delightful frozen concoction on the planet. And to top that off, they have bazillions of flavors and combinations that make Baskin Robbins seem like amateurs, and everything is made fresh every day. The only downside to this is that they have to make choices on what they make each day.

The ggod news is they have a system - the daily special, weekly special, and they always have vanilla and chocolate. There is usually a selection of frozen hold overs from the previous day, but you definitely need to keep an eye on their calendar for your favorites.

Even better is the pricing. The best on the planet at prices much lower as the not so great but big name ice cream places.

Whit's is simply awesome. It's always packed, especially on summer nights where the town looks beautiful. Last night was no different. The staff are excellent and the service is super fast. They're also super friendly. All of them deserve high praise because I've never seen a single one of them slacking. We've never had a single bad experience since we've visited over the course of 10 years. I 100% stand by that statement. As far as the flavors, there are standards. We love the Buckeye Madness that's available every day. My personal favorite is Almond Joy. Unfortunately, that's on a rotating menu and only available, maybe once a month. My only wish is that it was on the menu more because it's perfection. Overall, the place is. When I bring people into town, they love this place. Lebanon is a quiet and quaint little town. The frozen custard at Whit's is anything but quiet and quaint. It is bursting with flavor and creamy goodness.

Prices are fair and portions are more than reasonable. Rich, but not overly sweet, the ice cream accurately represents the flavor you choose. It also contains healthy portions of the ingredients in it's name (almond joy is full of almonds and chocolate).

Whit's does a daily and weekly flavor. I can't say that I've had a bad one. My favorite is still the egg nog that I had last year. Mix that with the chocolate and it's like magic...yin and yang.

This is a place that is staffed by younger workers...kids in high school; all are attentive and polite. As you walk through the building you can tell that the owners care about their staff and community. So if you're in the area stop by and give this custard a try, you won't be...
