Oh my.... the cakes are absolutely delicious! I traveled back to Pittsburgh Monday with a chocolate butter cream for my grandson who turned 16 last week. The star of my visit however was Gloria Charles!!! I left my wallet and she had to literally run to catch me! She refused a reward and with a smile on her face wished me a safe trip home as she tried to catch her breath. Thank you so much Gloria for reminding me there are still honest people out here. One of the prettiest cake shops I’ve ever been to, where everything is orderly and colorfully displayed, making anything appealing. I was very impressed with the cake creations and presentation. The amazing looks didn’t translate to the amazing taste we expected though. The galactic bomb was pretty and shiny blue and the chocolate mousse inside was not so chocolaty. The red velvet cake tasted like a regular cheesecake and all the 4 different types of bombons we tried tasted all the same. Everything they make is very impressive but I expected the taste to be as special....

Reasonably priced and delightful. I visited Foxwoods yesterday and my husband had on a Superman shirt. I went in the store and was greeted by the friendliest manager, willing to help and do whatever made my purchase easier and convenient. I decided to surprise him with the Superman cake and was delighted with the vanilla buttercream cake. I’m not a big cake or sweet lover and we didn’t eat the cake the entire night upon our stay there, but we decided to have itnwhen we got home.
