Guy Fieri's Foxwoods Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Ledyard

Well we must say that we will probably never be back after this last visit we had we usually come up to the casino which is about a good three hour drive up and back for us we always loved going there but sad to say this time basically blew it out of the water, my wife and I decided to order lunch we wound up ordering the Buffalo egg rolls which were very great as an appetizer then we decided to place an order for our main meal or entree my wife decided to order the 12 ounce steak and we asked for it to be medium with that being said it totally came out basically very raw and rare so we decided to have our waiter kindly look at it and he took it back so usually when that happens we would hope that they would redo the whole meal but sad to say this didn't happen they basically took the steak back cooked it then when we got it back everything else was cold so basically they just slapped it on the grill or stove or wherever they decided to cook it and then send it back with all the vegetables totally cold. So moving forward I decided to order a bacon cheeseburger cook medium sad to say it came out I took a bite into it and it was worse than the steak that my wife ordered so I kindly let the gentleman know but I asked for medium he looked me in the face and said yes you did I said does this look medium to you he says not even close, not to mention never even got the bacon that I ordered for as well, now when you eat at certain locations or certain restaurants we won't leave a name they will actually ask you to cut into it to see if it's cooked to your liking or perfection and I'm sorry to say this did not happen but what's even more upsetting is we paid $100 gave him a $20 tip but personally in my opinion we should have been refunded all of our money or compted for something which we never got and it's very disappointing to charge that much money for someone and get nothing to our liking in any way now when the drinks came out to the table I kindly asked the gentleman for no lemon and any of my soda or water comes out with everything loaded with lemons so basically everything and anything about our stay was horrible except for the Buffalo egg rolls. For the price that you guys charged us meaning the company that is very sad but looking at all your other reviews I guess the problem keeps persisting maybe you might want to look into changing the cook or somebody else but to serve somebody that and then pull the stunt that they did by just throwing the steak back on the grill and coming back with everything cold sad to say we chose not to eat the rest of it because we already waited a good hour to begin with pictures are provided below we were kind enough to give the gentleman a tip but sad to say I'm deeply that I did leave him a tip so next time when we come to the casino we we'll definitely not be giving our money back to a company that provide service like this, if you think this is a good way to treat your customers well im sorry you will...

Went here because we were doing holiday shopping and my brother has never been and has been talking about trying it for a long time now. I made reservations because it was a Saturday evening and it was gonna be busy right before the holiday, and we got there and were seated a little early which was awesome! While we were waiting in line to check in I had asked my brother if he was excited to try the trashcan nachos because he's mentioned more than once that he's wanted to try them, and that was when I found out that just a few months earlier he had already been there and they were delicious. He had already been there. This whole time I was so excited to give him this new experience and he was now a seasoned if not expert attendee. In fact my husband informed me that several times on the drive there my brother had talked about "the last time he went". I do not recall any of that conversation. Anyways. We had 7:15 reservations so we only ordered a few apps and drinks because it was so late and I'm old and cannot eat that late. I got the blueberry lemon drop drink which was delicious and my husband and brother both got the winter Sam Adams. We got the trashcan nachos for my brother to enjoy for not the first time, which we're delicious and incredible. The cheese was melted but not soupy, the meat had a perfect smokey flavor, and each chip was a grandma chip (chip with loads of stuff on it). We also ordered the wings on the special menu, which we're a southern spice flavor, they were not too spicy and my husband agreed (he's has a delicate palate for spicy food) and we ordered the BBQ flavor which was my favorite because of the sweetness and very flavorful. They were cooked perfectly and had a nice crispness to the skin. We ordered the apple bomb for dessert to which we enjoyed out of the same dish to which I wondered for quite a bit if they thought we were a throuple because we were romantically splitting a dessert 3 ways. It was delicious and I'm not a huge fan of apples, but the flavors and textures of pie crust and pecans plus the ice cream was delicious. My brother bought and wore a flame shirt just for the occasion, to which is abnormal for him to wear anything other than a pirate outfit so you could tell he was excited to be there for not the first time. My favorite part was when it was someone's birthday they sang happy birthday with Guy Fieri cut out posters. Sometimes 2 per sing song. We all have been eating out and the bill here was not bad at all the atmosphere is very cool it's set in the roof line of the atrium for the main entrance to the the Pequot . Whether you're with your family or on a nice date I will definitely recommend this place I don't drink but even that bar look like a very nice clean bar I was there for the food and I sampled a bunch of different items off the menu as I was with my family I tried the burger it was really good Also the chicken sandwich was excellent the way they shave the iceberg lettuce on top and fresh tomato is perfect I liked that the best ... When you get your French fries it comes in a little fryer basket and they mix all different french fries together waffle fry steak fry shoestring long cut that's really cool I've never seen any place do that because your French fries don't get boring there's all different ones to try. I also tried the New York strip steak it was delicious grilled to perfection.. as an appetizer we got the trash can nachos you can get it with pulled pork or chicken or both we just got the pulled pork it was very good fresh pico de gallo the cheese sauce they had it was really good I would recommend it like if you like nachos and you like nachos covered and everything the way they layer it you'll see it's easy to remove something if you have a picky person with you. I have to say to that the staff was very attentive I mean refilling your drink before it's empty OnPoint friendly I don't understand why this only has a 3.7 I think it just needs more reviews because it's fine anyways you're only missing out and paying double elsewhere believe me if you with somebody that likes American food his menu encompasses everything on his show ends up on his menu he will say on his TV show when he tries something he loves that he's going to put it in his restaurants and he does
