Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Ledyard

Food was sub par regular burger joint … service was the worst part of it we are black and everyone in the line in front of us to be seated was too… uet we waited an absurd amount of time to be seated but we were all looking multiple tables for us to be seated. Looked around the restaurant n found us in line all of us strangers to each other were the only people of color both working and dining … while we continued to wait … people began leaning on the counter they were waiting so long. But when we were sat we had to tell the serve we needed refills she brought us a check we didn’t even ask for it yet. So very pushed out. She handed the check before even asking if we needed refills … when we asked for the refill she offered a to go cup . I have never been so rushed out of a restaurant in my life … but yet the other people in the restaurant not being rushed out the door… as we sat and ate I watched other customers come and wait to be seated they were not people of color… and they were seated in a timely manner …. That was my first experience at a Johnny rockets and it was very prejudice environment i don’t recommend to any people of color how I watched us and other be treated last night and the food WAS NOT good enough for that at all will not be returning amd im new to CT so for my family that comes uo we won’t be coming back and I’ll be sure to let people know too. In this political climate it was shown in that restaurant yesterday and the 50s style theme made it no better the attitudes were as outdated...

Not going to lie... Foxwoods isn't my favorite place to visit in CT. I don't enjoy gambling. But, I did recently visit Foxwoods for a concert (it's a nice venue for that kind of thing) and my hubby and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat. It's close to the theatre.

Anyway, if you're ever at Foxwoods for shopping or a show, Johnny Rockets is a relatively inexpensive place to eat! They are located on the main floor just at the beggining of the Outlets. The place was clean and the servers were friendly and attentive.

The food here is surprisingly good! It have to manage a gluten allergy, and you'll do well here! Not only do they offer GF buns, but they will also offer to fry a burger for you on foil to reduce cross contamination. Of course, this isn't a GF kitchen, but every little bit helps. I was delighted that might server was careful to ask about my needs and sensitivity.

It's a great place for all ages. It's a bit noisy given the location and also the fact that lots of families with kids will go here. But, if you need some casual food, it works and the food is good.

Horrible service!! Stephanie the manger at Johnny rocket from foxwood location is the worse !! She’s so rude and very unprofessional! My family and I were the first in line and she told the staffs to take the last group in line to serve them first .. I understand it’s Covid but she could have come to us and atleast let us know that because we have more people or whatever the reason is to make her do that ! But instead she just take them in and skipped all the line after we waited in line for 30 minutes or more . So I asked to speak to this manager she said “well I’m sorry you feel that way” that’s it!she didn’t know how to handle the situation . I don’t think she should be the manager she definitely needs more training on how to speak to customers and be professional instead she gave us attitude ! we were not the only one that feel this way there was other peoples in line very upset as well ! How can you just take whoever you want to skip the line without apologizing to customers and no explanation! The staffs there was nice I can see that they feel bad but it’s up to the manager . Please take her position away and put 1 of the staff was working there to be the manager she seem more professional than Stephanie. Not to mention she turned us away because of how rude she is! I will not come back here because of her ! Superviser and corporate should take...
