Chen's Seafood — Restaurant in Leesburg

When we were going to the :Dollar Tree next to Aldi's in the Plaza on Citrus Blvd in Leesburg today, my wife and I just so happened to see the sign for the grand opening of Chen's Seafood Market in that same plaza. Since we arrived a year ago in the Villages, we have been looking for a fairly close and good seafood market like the one we were so dependent upon in West Orange, NJ for so many years. Luckily, I think we found it! If you go there on our recommendation, don't expect anything but a pretty good variety of fresh seafood at reasonable prices and a friendly cheerful lady at the register who knows her business and who will answer all of your questions with a smile. The man in the background (her husband?) is very adept at his craft of cleaning and preparing your choice in whatever a way you like. We bought two medium-sized red snappers and had them cut into steaks, but he is ready to cut them in about 7 or more different ways. Fish market and the seafood look so gross. I ordered the Snowcrab tray well boil was ok. I ate everything except the over cooked, old corn and the shrimp was old and mushy. I didn’t eat any. This is like the 3rd tome I had shrimp and I’m over it.
