The service here last Friday was absolutely abysmal to non existent. At noon there was not a soul in a Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. Highly unusual. There were 6 in our group. You would think with no one else in there the service will be spot on but that's not going to be the case.
One member of our group never got a drink at all after requesting one several times. When the food finally came out it was either the wrong items or the wrong sizes. We had to request ranch sauce and other sauces multiple times to get them. Never got any straws for the drinks or extra napkins. Drink cups got empty and we were never offered refills; outside the initial refill as we were waiting on the food. One member of our party went and got a refill out of the fountain herself.
While all this was going on our server appeared be very busy socializing with other servers at one of the wait stations.
It came time for the check's. He asked how the checks were supposed to be split, pretty much everyone got one. When he returned everyone got checks that were not theirs, and none of them appeared to have all the correct food on it for anyone at our table. The guy that never got a drink pointed out to the server that his check showed an unsweet tea on it. The server told him it was the same price for a sweet tea. Our friend quickly said that's nice but I never got a drink because you never brought me one!
All of the checks were fairly close in the amount so we elected to just pay the check we had and get the hell out of there. Everyone laid a bank card down with their check and the server came and collected them.
Several minutes later, actually it was longer than that and a bit excessive while waiting on checks to come back, the server returned and passed out everyone's cards. My original check was just short of being nine dollars. The check that was now laying with my card was for over $15. At this point I had enough and started questioning the server as to what he was trying to do. We sat and waited several more minutes while the server went and tried to fix my new check.
Everyone else in our group was ok with what they ended up paying. We grew tired of waiting. My friends left and I went to the cashier to retrieve my card. I ended up paying more than the original check just to get the ordeal over with.
I don't know if our server was new, missed something in training, or just didn't care. There is no reason the other servers could not have been helping. Pathetic.
One of the other people in our group would relay to us that he and his girlfriend couple of nights earlier attempted to eat at BWW and the service was just as bad. They would end up leaving before any food ever came out as they were disgusted with the poor service.
It is no wonder this place looked like a ghost town at lunch and that is an insult to a respectable ghost town. I contacted BWW and reported the issue. I told them we had made our last trip there unless drastic changes are made and steps are taken to rectify our miserable lunch. At this point I wish this site would allow for zero or negative stars.
This post will be updated should BWW offer an...
Read moreTL/DR- BWW prefers to show tire wrestling instead of football and refuses to pour drinks because TVs are confusing.
OK Wow. It has been a long time since service and experience has been bad enough for me to get angry. Here is the story- me and 3 friends went to this location last night to watch some college football, drink a few beers and eat. Here is how this went down. We sat in the bar area, we were greeted pretty quick. We all ordered a drink. That was the only good part of the experience. After the drinks were ordered.... We waited 10 min to receive our first drinks- only seeing our waitress again when she brought them. By the way, the bar area was about 20% full. So we were drinking our beers and waiting for the TN game to start. Once it started the bar tender was kind enough to switch it to tire wrestling and turn the volume all the way up. None of us knew this existed and thought it might be a joke. We waited a few min. During this time we ordered another round of drinks. We waited the same amount of time (10 min) never seeing our waitress again. Then the bar tender felt the vacant chairs were crooked so he went to go angle them just so. One of our group asked if he would be so kind to change the tire wrestling back to the game. He was too busy re-arranging chairs and he would get to it. I looked around for the waitress and could not find her anywhere. I asked the bar tender where our drinks were and he proceeded to tell me and my friend that he was too busy trying to figure out how to change the TV back to the game that we were desperate to see. He also pointed out it was our fault for asking for this that he could not do his job and pour the beers. At this point it has been 15 min since we ordered the drinks..... The manager also pointed out this was our fault and asking to watch the game was way out of bounds when tire wrestling was obviously more important to the bar tender. She also thought it was fine for us to wait 10-15 min for drinks that never came. I just could not believe the attitude, the idiocy. Someone needs to teach this bar tender how to use a beer tap and a TV remote. Someone needs to teach the manager how to run a SPORTS bar. I can already hear the response from them- it was all our fault (as they pointed out several times). **UPDATE- I got a response right away and it directed me to a website that comes up for a second, then crashes and goes into a forever load situation- making it impossible to register the complaint on the site. So great job failing in every...
Read moreI placed an order at 2:19pm through your website with free delivery. It expected arrival time was 3:00pm. Around 3:15pm, I had not received the order, so I called the store. Shawn answered the phone, so I stated that the expected arrival time for the delivery was 3pm and wanted to know the status. I gave him my name and he was not able to find it. He asked if it was through doordash, and I said no I did it through your website. He persisted to say all deliveries are handled through doordash. I spelled out my name and he miraculously found it. He said they picked it up a while ago and I need to talk with doordash even though this is not stated any time throughout the ordering process or at the end. At this time I get in contact with doordash for them to say since I did it through buffalo wild wings site I need to talk with them as they don't have access to my information. I then proceeded to call back the store and ask to speak to a manager, to my surprise Shawn was the manager. I explained to him that doordash doesn't have the information to help as I did it through your website. He decided to refund the money and I should call if the food comes. I rarely ever eat from buffalo wild wings. I would expect a manager to know the system in finding an order or use context clues to find other ways of finding an order before dismissing a customer's concern. He/she should also know how to troubleshoot order problems especially when it is directly connected to the brand's own website. In my opinion this was horrible customer service and to have to be juggled around for something so simplistic is deplorable. In the end I just was left starving and utterly disappointed.
4/20/20 On 4/20/20, at 11:39 spoke with Jacklyn in customer relations. I told her that I did not receive the refund I was told I would get on the 14th. I also told her that I put in a complaint. She looked up the complaint and stated that it went through and door dash stated it was undelivered due to address when full address but put in both address section and in note section. I received no calls stating this or even a call back from Shawn saying my purchase was brought back to their store. My request for the full amount of purchase and tip is now forwarded to accounts where I now have to wait for a call from them. I asked when should I expect the call and no time frame given. No apologies for horrible service, poor management of the refund...
