OVERVIEW I have found the secret to eternal life! It is found in Carl's Jr Drive Thru! I really should have started a timer from the time I ordered to the time I received my order, and don't feel that I am exaggerating when I say it took 30 minutes, but hey I got a free cookie for that long wait! I don't think it would be that hard to look at statistical information from the nightly financial numbers and plan accordingly to how much staff and customers to prepare for.
LOCATION This Carl's Jr actually has a great location, located not too far from the freeway near an incredibly busy intersection filled with bottlenecks. It's also conveniently located amongst Utah's version of Silicon Valley (Lehi, Utah). Is one of many fast food restaurants in the nearby area.
PRICE I used a coupon from a mailer, which made the total a slightly bit more reasonable. For two meals, plus a kids meal came to $13 something. Seems a little too much for my liking.
PRODUCT/SERVICE The burgers were delicious, better than McDonalds that's for sure. Thought it would be dead during the 8pm hour, like Google indicated, but it was a little busy. We bought the midnight moonshine burgers with double-patties. Needless to say, it was rather impressive and filling. Wasn't too impress about the time it took to make them. I went through the drive-thru and had to wait for a few cars in front of me, I estimate I waited around 15 minutes (I started my stopwatch halfway through to get an idea).
EMPLOYEES The young lady on the intercom was rather nice, and hooked us up with their promotional midnight moonshine mason jars, which appears to be cheap plastic bottles meant to resemble bottles, now that I got home. I do however think I found the culprit of the long wait time for the food... When I got up to the drive-thru window, I saw the female teller, talking on her cell phone, kind of dragging herself around because she was too occupied with her conversation, more than the task at hand. I also noticed that she gave me all the food and drinks before taking my car, I could have easily drove off without paying, but that's not my personality.
Thoughts about Employees from another visit: I, in no way, blame the employees for the time I had to wait for my order. I blame management for the lack of staff. I found out from the young lady that took my money that there was a total of 3 employees. Their uniforms appeared to be clean, and as best as I could tell from my car they were working fast and efficiently.
FINAL THOUGHT If you have a little time to wait, and don't mind, possible health violations (i.e. employees talking on their cellphone while putting together your meal (there are more germs on phones than the toilet!)), then this is the...
Read moreI drove through for Christmas 🎄🎁 weekend on Friday and ordered a big carl meal and asked specifically for the sandwich to have no lettuce and a little extra sauce. Not only was there lettuce but the sandwich was made soggy and was stuck to the wrapper and was disgusting to say the least. When I called they asked to remake it but had only stopped along the freeway and had continued onto the freeway to see family. The person on the phone was kind and asked to remake when we were leaving to come back from the Christmas holiday, so I left my name. As I came back I presented my ID. To the person taking the order. Not only did she not take or even look at my ID, she didn't even check to go see or ask my name at all. I had to ask her to please go look. I then asked for her name and she said it was America, quote: "you know like the country." This woman was very rude. Very inconsiderate, and was the worst customer service I've EVER had in any restaurants. When I asked to speak to the GM she said I am and slammed the door on my face in the drive through. So I waited and offered to purchase the sandwich and be done with this since it was already made and again she refused the purchase and the service, her name, and refused to give a corporate number. When I called to see if she was being honest about the name. I called asking for the GM name, she asked why on the phone and I responded to make a review. She then hung up the phone and when I called back continued to hang up the phone and not give me any information whatsoever. This type of service is the worst customer service a customer could go through. The most disrespectful and unprofessional business associate I personally have ever encountered upfront and personal. I'll never eat there on any travels and will always recommend this place a complete failure and a zero. That woman should be fired for treating customers like this. I'm sure I'm not...
Read moreWe had some coupons, so got a bunch of burgers. I think I liked their double famous star the better of them. Kind of a taste test opportunity for their different selections. Carl's Jr , in my opinion, has really improved their hamburgers since years ago when we used to go there. Especially with the buns they use now. They're now being the type of burger you see in advertising, instead of that great disparity of being much less in what you actually get. I think it may be even better than the advertising depictions now. We've been going to other 'premium' burger shops, but have been going to this Thanksgiving Point Carl's a few times lately, and my Dad keeps saying that the burgers have been the best he's had in years, much better than those expensive places we've been going. Today he had to go tell the cook that she made such amazingly delicious burgers. First time I've tried a famous star, and I must admit, it was a...
