We had a large group, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating from the moment we walked in. They made sure we had everything we needed and created a great dining experience for our entire party. The menu had a fantastic selection, with plenty of unique and creative sushi rolls to choose from. It was exciting to see so many interesting combinations, and everything we tried was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. We ordered a variety of rolls, and despite our large order, they arrived impressively fast—fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for recommendations, I highly suggest trying the Kill Bill, Volcano, Sunset, and Cobra Kai rolls. Each one had its own distinct flavors and textures, making for an amazing sushi experience. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a great place to dine with friends, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

We came because of the rating and was not impressed. My husband’s water cup had soap residue in it so we had to get a new one. The service was a bit weird, it felt like she was rushed despite it not being busy. I got the sushi lunch special with the California and shrimp tempura roll- the shrimp tempura roll was good, and the California mid. The miso soup that came in the special tasted like feet, which was disappointing. My husband got a roll (avenue, which was ok) and some tako nigiri— we were surprised by how little was there based on the price. It’s pictured, but it came with two nigiri pieces I just didn’t get it fast enough. We shared some gyoza (mid) and a tuna roll (I usually like the rolls with raw fish but this one was not good) as well. Overall, not worth the price in terms of quality.

I'm soooooo happy to have a great sushi place in Lehi. Tsunami is pretty good, but service has been poor in the last few years, so we stopped going to Tsunami. I like Hamachi so much more! Their sushi menu has quite a bit of variety. Unlike a lot of sushi places in Utah valley, you're not stuck ordering multiple rolls that all have the same ingredients. Our favorite so far is the Kill Bill. The fish is fresh! Every piece of fish we had was high quality. We got salmon and tuna negiri and they were so tasty. I appreciated that the music playing on their sound system wasn't too loud, so we didn't have to scream to hear each other. Service was great. Water was refilled often. To Hamachi management: please add tamago nigiri to your menu. (or don't add it, but let me order it anyway 😉)

Service and place are very good but the food is overpriced. Most of the rolls that we ordered were pretty spicy. Quality of rolls was good but the taste was so so. Not the worst but definitely far from the best.Fried calamari were really fried too much, like a pieces of burnt breading. You can't even taste calamari there. The only thing that I liked there was TONKOTSU RAMEN. I would say if I go there the second time(which probably won't happen)I would go to get Ramen. If you compare this place to the sushi across the road -Tsunami,I would definitely prefere to go to Tsunami(zero doubts). Hamashi is way overpriced. Not worth the money(at least specialty rolls that I tried). You would think that if you want to compete with well established place like Tsunami you would either make sure your food is perfect quality and taste or the prices are more attractive to the customers but non of this you...
