We got in line at about 1:00pm, there were about 5 or 6 cars in front of us and it took about 15 minutes before we were finally at the speaker and menu to order. There had been several cars that seemed to take forever to order. We waited for about 5 minutes with no one answering us on the speaker. We had people behind us and i had been calling out asking if anyone was there. After waiting a long time and then all of the cars in front of us having gone through the drive through we decided to pull up to the window and try ordering.
When we arrived at the window whoever the lady was that we spoke to needs to be refreshed on customer service or, the policies this location has needs to be changed. We were told that their system can’t read anyone is there if you don’t pull a little past the speaker. I’ve never had this problem and I order fast food all of the time. We then asked if we could just order from the window and explained we had been trying to order for a good while. We were told to either come inside to order or go back through the drive through. Which at this point had about 7 cars in it behind us. Obviously cars before us had the same problem ordering and that’s why it seemed when we arrived it was taking forever to even get to order. I’m not a genius but any competent person should be able to put a sign on the speaker saying to pull forward the sensor or whatever will pick up you’re there a little past it or something. Secondly telling us we couldn’t order at the window is stupid. There are plenty of other scenarios that would cause a person to have to order at the window instead of being able to order through the speaker. Retrain employees or this particular one that was talking with us and or change policies (I’m talking about the one for not taking order at the window, which isn’t a corporate thing) so that communication is better.
After all of our conversation which honestly would have taken about how long she could have entered our order in we had to leave without ordering food and wasted our time. We left at about 1:20pm and had to be somewhere at 1:30. We literally spent about 20 minutes in line...
Read moreWent here for the 1st time while in town to try the breakfast. Arrived at the drive-thru at 10:35am on a Saturday (breakfast is supposed to be available until 11am). Menu only showed their regular lunch/dinner items. When I asked if they were still serving breakfast, they said yes but "just a friendly reminder that you can only order 2 breakfast items because breakfast is almost over and we're shutting down our grills/fryers". Huh? Since it wasn't just me in the car wanting food, I asked if it was 2 breakfast items per person or in total. She said 2 items total, but that we could also order any of their lunch or dinner items. I wasn't there for lunch...I was there specifically for breakfast (who eats lunch or dinner at 10:35am?). Of course, this being my first time wanting to order breakfast at Taco Bell, ordering the 2 items I was "allowed" to order was a challenge, since there was no breakfast menu available to look at. Maybe it's just me, but if breakfast is listed as being available until 11am, the menu should be visible (and not have an item order limit) until 11am. Needless to say, I was not impressed at all, and will probably not be going back to this location. The girl at the window was nice and pleasant, but not very helpful and had trouble entering the (very small and easy) order into their...
Read moreIf only they allowed multiple bad reviews... 6 months later 8/8 1:30 all but 2 employees are worth firing. I guess this is the problem when you don't pay a living wage you can't expect even 2 star service. Never should you walk into a retail establishment and wait 5 minutes to be asked if you need help. If you start paying people $30 an hour you can compete for quality labor. Do it and I'll be happy to pay more. 1 of your best employees seems worth 2-3 of your average.
I had a rather terrible experience recently. Today's current staff as of 12:30 pm really rushed and literally tossed my order into the bag.... One of the tacos was turned upside down spilling a good amount of tomatoes and lettuce through out my order. The burritos I ordered were spilling their guts in their wrapping to the point it exploded no matter how I was going to eat it. Yes it coated my hands a bit and got on my clothes. You need to have the basic empathy if wrapping the food here as it causes such terrible messes and potential distractions while driving as a burrito volcano oozes with each bite. Mind you each wrapper being dirty with food added to the mess more than normal. It's not great to feel like I need to wash clothes and parts of the interior of my car after...
