We have been coming here for years and enjoy the service and food. The portions are generous and prices excellent. For desserts we love the Brownie Sundae and all fun daily made treat options on the deli side. I like how they do special desserts for holidays too. On the Deli menu we love the classic Rueben, Smokehouse Burger, and Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich. Salads and soups are also delicious. They season their steak fries, which tastes amazing! Kids menu chicken tenders are good too. On occasion they are really busy so service isn't as stellar, but we try to come before or after rush hours and find we are always please when we do. We also enjoy the Harvest Restaurant and Trellis Cafe, although they are a bit more expensive, but still a bargain comparatively and you can make reservations. We will keep coming as there is so much to experience here at Thanksgiving Point!

I'm writing this review just for the Ice Cream Parlor. The rumor is that some of the founders of Novell started Thanksgiving Point for entertainment for families. Whatever the reason is, it's worth it stop by and just walk around. The parlor itself is built just like the Ice Cream Parlors of looonggg ago. It's a neat little atmosphere. To start off, we had the warm cookie sunday. When it got to us, it was a warm, gooey, Fudgy, mess of deliciousness. We started devouring the ice cream, and believe me, it took two adults a long time to get through the amount of ice cream we were provided.

I’d honestly expect more from the venue. Thanksgiving Point is a nice place to visit but they’ve always struggled with their food. We visited as a family and stopped for lunch. We ordered some kids meals, a couple burgers and a turkey sandwich. The kids mac & cheese was terrible. It literally tasted like wet noodles (no cheese flavor). They were very helpful replacing it with some chicken strips that were much better. The burger was just ok. The turkey sandwich was ok but just ok. The best part was the portion sizes. They gave a decent amount of food and everyone left with full stomachs.

Worst experience at a dining place in a very long time. Ordered a Unicorn Sunday to split with my daughter. 45minutes later and dozens of customers getting their order before us, after ordering after us, forced me to get a refund and walk out. The staff only seemed interested in "easiest orders first". making only cones and single scoop items. nearly every customer had to go back and ask where the rest of their order was. Staff could not be heard over the noise of the area and when told to speak up they mumbled about being as loud as they could be, then they'd walk around lost mumbling the name on the order until returning back behind the counter to wait for the customer to come asking for it. Not sure anyone there was over 16. The place was being run by children to scared to call out the name on the orders. There was no management to speak of. No leadership. Just choas. I never got my ice-cream. Had to wait for a manager to come from another area to get a refund and didn't even get an apology. Terrible experience. If Zero stars was an option they earned it. Second time there and I want my membership refunded and I never want to take my kid back to Thanksgiving Point after today's experience. And seeing how they use under-aged staff everywhere you go, the company itself screams terrible. Maybe if they payed fare wages they could get some competent people to work for them. The friends we went with got frozen corn dogs and watched the child cook eating fries in the kitchen without changing gloves whilr preparing customer's food. Gross! The place should be shut down. It was terrible. I lay the blame directly at the management's feet as there appeared to be no management there to begin...

We came here for some ice cream next to the restaurant and some food. The food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious, and we love getting the ice cream here. The service at the restaurant was great, the ice cream staff, not so much. Usually when we get ice cream they are a little flustered, but I get it because they are busting their butts trying to take orders and serve ice cream often as just one person. Well this time I walked up to order after another person walked away, so to me it seemed she had just taken an order. So I started ordering and realized maybe she needed to make the other persons order so I said “oh are you ready?” She just looked at me and said yes with an attitude. After ordering I realized I forgot to substitute the caramel for fudge, so I asked her if that was my cookie Sundae, she looked at me like I was an idiot and said ya it’s the cookie sundae. Then I said I wanted to sub it for fudge and pointed at what I thought was the fudge. She basically made me feel like I was an idiot for not knowing that what I was pointing at was hersheys chocolate, not fudge. I have never been treated so badly by a server before. I am not one to try to get someone in trouble but she was absolutely rude and needs to be trained better, or find a job she doesn’t hate as much. On the bright side, the deli servers were so nice and attentive. The service was fast and easy, and despite her attitude, we enjoyed our...

I have to say that the food here is great and the ice cream is awesome. However, I probably will not be coming back. My family went for dinner and we had arrived about an hour before closing. The manager at the time (3-4-2017) was so keen on getting us to leave that he gave us to go boxes to rush us out 15 minutes before closing.

On top of that he was very deamening and rude to another employee when my mother and sister went to get ice cream. They asked for a Sunday, the employee at the counter said "no problem", however the manager that night (3-4-2017) followed my family to the counter only to correct his employee right after my family said what they wanted. Apparently, there is a rule to not serve certain ice creams after 8:45. Rules are rules and that makes sense, but when explaining this to his fellow employee, he was extremely rude to her in front of us customers. On top of that she embarrassingly told us that that rule has never been enforced.

I guess the rule is enforced only when it is convenient for that manager. So because of that manager on the night of (3-4-2017), I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK, NOR WILL MY FAMILY.

I hope this is read by whoever his superior is so the problem can be addressed. It would greatly...
