Fraulie's German Delicatessen — Restaurant in Lemoyne

Well well well….what a diamond in the rough. This tiny shop is on a very plain, regular street lined with classic PA architecture. When I walked into Mimi’s German deli, I was blown away by the variety of products stuffed into this long, clean shop! I was met by Mimi who was warm and welcoming. We were fast friends, talking about our history and love of German food. She had amazing suggestions for me and what I was looking for. And I collected a few different yummy savory and sweet treats for a party. Everyone LOVED every single thing I got from her and we can’t wait to try more!! I will absolutely be back and I want to try everything in the store. Thank you Mimi, it was delightful meeting you. ☺️

Wonderful experience in a cozy, yet positively, chock-full store! I've lived in the area for years, and have to say, I greatly regret not stopping in before.

The selection is extremely broad - multiple varieties of anything you're looking for, not just one or two, as you'd find in a more generic location.

The proprietor was warm, inviting, full of conversation, and happy to let one browse, ask questions, and talk about all sorts of things!

The lady behind the counter was so pleasant and friendly. We talked with her for about 20 minutes about our travels, and about her taking over the store from HER mother, who started it. It was just a lovely experience. The locals must love her, too. She called them by name when they came in and spoke with them like close friends. It was great to see this kind of store, these days.
