In full disclosure, I'm a club member at this location.
In short, I love it here. The selection is absolutely top-notch, particularly in what I call "mid-range boutiques"-- think Pepin Garcia, A.J. Fernandez, and E.P. Carillo as prime examples. The staff are helpful, and even some of the regulars in the lounge area are willing to step up to help a new customer find something they might enjoy.
The "mainstream" (think Montecristo, RyJ, Punch) selections are also respectable, and they certainly don't have a shortage of "high end" brands, like Padron, Liga Privada, or Diamond Crown. If you're specifically looking for Davidoff or some of the high-end Fuente products (Opus X, Anejo, Limited Edition Don Carlo, etc) I might recommend checking out the Harrisburg (on Grayson Road, near the Wal-Mart) store first, as those are products that store seems to place a stronger emphasis on, although the Lemoyne store does carry many of them as well.
The lounge itself has a big pool table, lots of high-back leather chairs, and 2 nice, big LCD TV's. A quality cigar while watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs (GO PENS!!!) is my idea of an afternoon or...
Read moreGreat place! They have a ton of cigars, one of the biggest selections in the area. I believe they are the only place that carries curi vari cigars. The owners Dave and Greg are very welcoming, so are the staff and same goes for every gentleman that is in the lounge. Everyone comes into the lounge and says hello, converses, etc. I started smoking cigars when I was young and this was the place I came to first when I did. I would have trouble here and there and I would ask the gentlemen or the staff (mainly Bob) if they could help me with selections, or lighting a cigar, etc. Cigar culture has taught me to enjoy the little things and take your time. Stressing over it does not make it better. The cool part is that anyone can talk to you about anything. A gentleman started a convo with me about the book I was reading and the convo flowed from there. In the summer months I like coming here and relaxing with a book sitting outside and in the winter same thing but inside. Great place to get started if you are getting into...
Read moreExcellent selection, but the humidor is very poorly maintained. I did buy a few sticks but didn't feel comfortable putting them in my humidor. The humidifier is a consumer grade vaporizer running at full blast and blowing directly on a shelf full of sticks. The wrappers on many of the cigars (including expensive sticks) are covered with dust and what appears to be smoke residue, like they were smoking in the humidor. I'd hate to think what the cigars with no wrappers have absorbed. Many moldy sticks. Check out the poor La Palinas for an example. When I got to the register I was asked how much my selections cost and got a look like I'm an idiot for not keeping track of what the prices were. I've never encountered that before. Had a guy shadow me in the humidor which always makes me...
