Walked in told them i wanted the giant size turkey, the young worker started to make my sandwich on white bread, before i even told him i wanted wheat bread- he told me they only have white bread, and told me they will not be having wheat for a few hours, since i was hungry i went and just ordered,, everything was good until the person making the sandwich stopped and the cashier started making the sandwich, like assembly line, he pushed the sandwich down the line and the cashier
took over to make the sandwich, the problem with this is the cashier took money from the previous customers before me that comes in contact with their credit cards , paper money, therefore, i get the contamination on my food ,from everyone he accepted money from and even though had on gloves, he did not switch the gloves before making my sandwich, and i can see why, as if he did that for each customer, that would be to time consuming, unfortunately i;m not paying $15 bucks for a sandwich on bread i did not want, and cross contamination of germs, and potential Covid, no way, sadly i did not get to try the food at this establishment, so i cant comment on the food, but the store was very...
Read moreI have loved Jersey Mikes since they opened their Lee’s Summit location many years ago. The Lee’s summit and Olathe locations have always been extremely professional and outgoing. I am a Jersey Mikes member and I go to this establishment often. I was excited when I saw they were building this location blocks away from my job. I went to this location at a slow restaurant time. I walked in the door and I had 6 high school kids staring at me like they didn’t work there. Half of them had their thumbs in their pockets and not one of them ever greeted me or even took my order... I stood there and made awkward eye contact with the high school kids for a full minute before the manager came out from the back and took my order. Why are they even there if they aren’t doing anything? Once I ordered my sandwich the kids still stood there like deers in headlights while the manager made my food. Once my order was ready one of the kids just held my sandwich and never called my name and just looked around. He obviously knew it was my order. I went to the counter and he never said a word to me at all. I love Jersey Mikes but, I will not go to this location nor...
Read moreWhere do I begin with this tragic story of heartbreak. Right after putting in some intense cardio to be able to reward myself with a delicious meal, I said why not Jersey Mikes because of its close proximity to the gym. As I walk up to the establishment I notice the doors are locked but the open sign is on along with a sign stating they don’t close for another half hour. At this point I feel bamboozled and betrayed. I would understand if this was a sit down restaurant and how it Would be shameful to go in half an hour to before they close, but it wasn’t and it’s just a glorified subway in a one higher tax bracket. I could also understand if they closed early due to staffing issues, but from the window they had enough employees In there to invade a small country. The employees taunted me through the window with a smirk, ever since these stimulus checks hit their pockets they have been acting out of line. The voice for 15 lost one...
