Ordering at the kiosk and ordering at the counter will give varying results in terms of what you're paying. At the counter they tried to charge me slightly over $1.00 more than what the exact same order at the kiosk would have cost me (on a $3.00 order, so pretty significant actually) I opted to pay at the counter because I had .85 in change I had been carrying around in my pocket for a week and just wanted to get rid of. After talking to the manager about how my order was significantly more expensive at the counter and getting a lot of puzzled "I don't know why" answers, she finally overrode the computer with her manager card to give my order to me at a fair price, the total came out to $3.27. The manager apologized and left the rest of the order to be taken by the original attendee. It's at this point where I'm not sure if she did this out of grief or if she somehow legitimately made this mistake, but I hand over my 85 cents just to get rid of it and put the rest on card, well I hand over the .85 cents, tell her how much I have, watch her count it and say Ok, all in one seemingly swift motion, however now that my card is in the machine and its already being ran, I notice the total was an even $3.00.....it was $3.27 before I handed over my pocket full of change, which she counted and I TOLD HER was 85 cents, I was just trying to get rid of my change. She apologized once under her breath, and proceeded to open the register to give me back my change.....I will never go to this...
Read moreThis McDonalds is one of the newer remodels, but don't let the pretty lobby fool you. While waiting in line for our food we saw the only person taking orders, also a manager, correct 3 peoples incorrect meals. Most of them came in from the drive through. When our order was taken I got the impression that the manager taking our orders literally had hearing problems. He ended up charging us for two drinks and it was so hard to get our order taken that we just let him. We did not end up ordering what we wanted because it was too hard.
That was not good, but what was worse was the restroom facilities, especially the handicapped restroom facilities. The door to the family/handicapped restroom in the play area would not latch. That means it was not able to be locked. So unless you want to be part of a peep show, do not use this bathroom. I went to the regular women's room and the handicapped stall was locked and out of order (though there was no sign stating it was out of order). Luckily I am able to use a regular bathroom stall, but if my special needs child needed help we would not be able to use the restroom there. There were also hard water mineral deposits on the walls near the sinks in the main women's restroom. There is no reason for this if the restrooms are cleaned as often as McDonald's protocol states. This franchise location is a shame to the standard that is required...
Read moreJust got off work after working 2 shifts, super tired. My gf asked me to go pick some food up for us on the way home. The only place open was McDonald's. Pulled in to the drive thru for the most rude experience of my life from a MANAGER. She was condescending, rude and disrespectful the whole way through.
After receiving my food, I started driving towards my apartment only to notice they didn't give my drinks to me so I had to drive back to get them. I was completely distracted by how disrespectful the manager was towards me.
Another bad experience from the SAME LOCATION:
We just ordered McDonald's from DoorDash last night. When the food arrived, all of it tasted really old and it was cold. My cookies were missing so I drove to the McDonald's around 1:50am, shortly after the food arrived, and they were already closed. (Closes at 2am?)
So... I'm really wondering at this point how long we all have to deal with the under performing night manager at this location before enough people speak up and either the manager starts doing their job correctly or McDonald's replaces them.
There is no excuse for not serving the full spectrum of menu items between the time you open until the time you actually close. I'm not sure what industry you were a part of before becoming a manager at McDonald's but customers like to eat their food FRESH. They also like to receive what they PAY FOR....
