Disappointing Experience

I recently visited a newly opened Mexican restaurant in Overland Park, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we walked in, the staff's service and reception left much to be desired. The waiter who served us struggled with English, which is understandable, but it was frustrating that there wasn't anyone else available who could communicate effectively.

We started by ordering margaritas, which were poorly made and mostly slush with no proper presentation. Disappointed, we canceled the margaritas and opted for beers instead. Next, we ordered a Mexican chicken pizza. It turned out to be quite mediocre, with an overwhelming amount of cheese and very little meat.

The billing process was the final straw. We received a bill for $30, which mistakenly indicated that we had ordered three Mexican pizzas. When I questioned this, the waiter explained that the charge was for three beers and one Mexican pizza. Given that each beer was priced at $4.99 and the Mexican pizza at $9.50, the total should have been around $25. It was frustrating to see the discrepancy, especially since the beers were only 7oz Modelo’s. However, not wanting to ruin our Friday evening, I reluctantly paid the incorrect amount.

This experience was the worst I've had in years in Overland Park. The combination of poor service, average food, and billing issues made for a highly disappointing visit. I do not recommend...

When we first walked we were greated and we requested to be seated out side and were told absolutely and we could even picked our tables. We eneded up picking a table near the door and shortly after our waiter came out and greeted us. He gave us the chips and drinks but after waiting for 20 mins never came back. We had ate the chips and I had finished all of my drink. It wasn't busy at all we were like the 4th table there so I was surprised that no one came out to check up on us at all. A busses did come out to see if any tables needed cleaning and then went back inside. We still waited about 5 mins after and no one came out. We ended up leaving. We were extremely disappointed. I placed an order online and the wait time was 15 minutes. I live very close by so I took my time and left out 25 minutes after placing my order. When I walked in; there was a couple sitting at the bar and NO OTHER CUSTOMERS!!! I told the guy working the bar that I placed an order online and he looked confused, walked over to the register to look up my order, they hadn't even started working on it because they didn't bother to check their orders. I had to wait while they rushed to make my food. I didn't mind waiting but they didn't even apologize or offer me any chips and salsa while I waited so I just awkwardly waited for my food and played on my phone.
