I visited Chick-fil-A today, where I had a discussion with the director regarding a matter that had been brought to her attention. She informed me that certain comments I made while in my vehicle had caused offense and discomfort among some of her colleagues. I must express my perspective: while feelings of discomfort are indeed significant, they do not constitute a legal violation. The principle of freedom of speech permits individuals to express their views, even if such expressions may be perceived as troublesome by others.
During our conversation, the director terminated the call on several occasions, an action I found unprofessional, particularly after I indicated the possibility of seeking legal counsel to resolve the issue. It is crucial to acknowledge that placing restrictions on an individual's right to free speech is not permissible under the law. I do not intend to foster unnecessary conflict; however, I feel it is necessary to address the conduct of certain individuals who seem to derive satisfaction from creating discord. I sincerely hope that the families of those involved are prepared for the potential legal consequences arising from this incident.
It is important to recognize that, while some individuals may be young—possibly as young as sixteen—and may appear older, the impact of one's words can create a ripple effect. When working in public settings, individuals must expect to hear comments that may be unpalatable, as this is an inherent aspect of life. It is imperative that individuals mature and learn from such experiences; failing to do so is...
Read moreDespite the fact that the staff is pretty friendly, the service is not good. I had my worst experience there last night. I went through the drive-thru with a simple order: Two Cobb salads with cold, grilled chicken, one salad without corn. When I received my order, I pulled away. My daughter looked in the bag and saw one salad had fried chicken in it instead of grilled. That salad did come with no corn. I went back through the drive-thru that now had a much longer line. I told them what was wrong and I waited in line until I got to the window. I handed the girl back the salad that was wrong. She asked me again what it was supposed to be. I told her grilled chicken and no corn. Another girl from inside asked me again, and I again said grilled chicken and no corn. In about 30 seconds I was handed another bag and given their apologies. I drove off and my daughter checked the salad. It had corn in it. I refused to go through the line again and my daughter didn't want to go inside. I told her to forget it. She went to put the salad down and it came out of the bag. The lid to the container was NOT on all the way and it came off and the entire salad hit the floorboard of my car! Not only could they not get my simple order correct after TWO attempts, they couldn't even bother to properly close the container. I'm out $8 for a salad. I won't be going back...
Read more🌟 5 Stars and One Blessed Chicken Biscuit 🐔✨ If kindness were a condiment, Chick-fil-A in Lenoir would smother every visit in it like extra honey mustard on a nugget tray. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted like a long-lost cousin at a family reunion—minus the awkward small talk and suspicious casserole.
💁🏻♀️ Customer Service: Impeccable. Polished. Olympic-level polite. These folks could teach a graduate course in grace. I once spilled my drink and three employees simultaneously appeared with napkins like some sort of southern hospitality SWAT team.
🧼 Cleanliness: It’s so clean you’ll swear the floors were mopped with angel tears. Honestly, if you dropped a waffle fry, the five-second rule here might stretch to ten. Bless.
💎 Owner Alert – Mike Sheley: Lenoir hit the jackpot with this man. Mike’s not just running a restaurant—he’s curating a kindness movement with sweet tea and grilled nuggets. He’s the kind of guy who’d probably help you change a tire and offer you a milkshake afterwards. A true gem, and not the zirconia kind—he’s full-on community diamond.
Bottom line: If you’re hungry for food and faith in humanity, Chick-fil-A Lenoir will feed your belly and your soul. And if Mike’s around, you might just leave with a full heart and a fresh perspective—plus a side of...
