I go to this pizza hut 2-3 times a month. They have my favorite wings and thin crust pizza. Today I ordered online. They charged my card the full price for the pizza. They even emailed me a receipt. When I got there to pick it up, they "manager" said I still owed $13. So I went inside and showed him my emailed receipt. He said it must be a mistake with my bank because his system showed I still owe money and if I don't pay it I can't have my food. I showed him my receipt and he said it wasn't his problem and if I didn't give him more money he could not give me my food. And when I showed him again that I already paid he said he could not help that because his system showed otherwise and this wasn't worth him losing his job. He basically accused me of trying to steal from them. So I asked for a refund and a receipt showing my refund. He gave me a copy of the order and said he couldn't give a a refund receipt. The money did go back into my account. The full amount I paid went back. So this guy was 100% in the wrong and was a total jerk about it. I definitely will not go back ever. And I will tell everyone I know about how shady they are. I have never been so angry with a customer service employee. I worked in customer service for many years. And try to stay patient. When I told the person (turned out to be the manager, Cristy) that I would be there in an hour (it was 3:15) so please begin the order at 4, she hurrumphed and hung up the phone without confirming that she would do so. Because I wasn't sure if the order went in I called about 12 minutes before 4 to confirm the order and was told it was already in (12 min before it should have gone in). When I arrived the pizza was predictably not fresh and turned out to be not what I ordered (extra sauce, extra cheese). Cristy claimed that it was extra sauce, but that it had dried out in the hot box and that's why they don't like to put in orders ahead of time if you are going to eat in. I did not argue, but there is no way that that pizza had extra sauce on it and had she put it in when I asked her to it would not have had a chance to dry out. She did make me a fresh pizza and it was good so in the end she did make it right. But the whole point of calling ahead was to save time and that she did not do. I have called orders ahead to this Pizza Hut a number of times as I often have to travel through Lenoir on business. I have never had this problem before or encountered this attitude. So I guess I can no longer count on using the Lenoir Pizza Hut any more, at least until I know that Cristy is no longer...
Read moreI ordered from here tonight because I absolutely love the stuffed crust pizza.I watched as the delivery guy pulled up my driveway down my driveway into the neighbors driveway. I think his name was Kyle. I waited a couple minutes and then called the store not to complain but just simply ask if they can call him and let him know it was the first driveway that he went up. I spoke to two women and waited on both of them to go get a manager. the phone call lasted about 8 minutes and I still didn't get to speak to a manager. Kyle found his way back to my house and got out and ran super fast to the door. Nice guy and I understand he was in a hurry. I sat down to eat and open the box and seen that my pizza was messed up and not hot ( I'm trying to add a picture but I'm not sure if I missed that step yet). It was all on one side of the box and scrunched together.
