Have you ever wondered to yourself, "Hey self, I wonder what it would be like to eat some delicious mall counter-service Indian food during a zombie apocalypse?" If you're like me, you probably have that thought several times a day. Well, wonder no more, because Music City Mall's eerily empty but luxuriously appointed food court is now the proud host of Flavors of India, an authentic site for delicious Indian cuisine in a place that looks like what would happen after the rapture. I wish we'd all been ready. *ahem*. Anywho, yeah, the food was great, and the guys at the counter were friendly and helpful. Wife and I decided to be extra-basic with our orders and went with Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer. Couldn't be more basic if we tried. Because we were splitting both and because my wife is the Worst Mexican Ever, we ordered a zero on the spice level. Oh well. Still, the flavors and textures were excellent. They actually serve the rice right there with the food rather than in a separate container. They've also got quite a bit on the menu, so don't be shy. Anywho, don't be deterred by the eerie, otherworldly emptiness of Music City Mall. It's actually sorta peaceful. Think of it as an archeological expedition to a lost and abandoned civilization only populated by a tiny remnant. The place is immaculately kept; frankly I don't know why the city of Lewisville doesn't figure out something to revitalize the place.

The Owner, Keshav is a wonderful person and an even better chef; a master of Indian Cuisine. The food he produces is simply delicious and authentic. Everything from the Naan to Massalas is made fresh with the finest and most selective ingredients. He cooks the food with tender care so that when you receive the food you feel right at home. The foods quality is equally matched with the customer care. The food is made quickly and delivered piping hot. The owner and his wife are always there to greet with a friendly additude and a smile on their face. Of all the Indian Food in Texas this is by far THE BEST! Highly Recommend if you are looking for an Indian Restaurant that delivers on all levels, this is the place to go!

Update! Was there 11/30/24 and the chicken biryani didnt taste good. It needed more spices the rice tasted plain. I got the medium and last time to me it was spicy this time i feel like the cook didnt cook it with enough spices. My mom got the extra hot and last time it was super spicy for her this time it was barely even mild for her.. i hope they change that cook they had that day because he is missing alot of spices on the chicken biryani! Loved the food! Freshly made! It's pricy but I ate 2 times lol.. Will definitely go back again!!

I came here on a whim one Tuesday on my hour lunch break not expecting much of anything thanks to the state the Vista Ridge Mall is in; not being derogative but during the week the mall isn’t bustling but it ironically works out. Anyway, ordered the buttered chicken, extra spicy with garlic naan, the chef went right to work prepping everything, no cheap tricks here, he authentically makes each dish by hand. As I took in the foliage decorating the interim of the mall I heard a gentle ring of a bell, indicating my order was ready.

Excited with delight I grab the black tray with my styrofoam box and head back to my seat.

Popping the lid open the vibrant, bright orange color instantly captured my eyes, along with the spot of melting butter sinking deeper into this rich, decadent sauce. Mountain of chicken poked through the sea of orange as if white capping a lake and nestled right up against it was a bed of jasmine rice, fluffed up to perfection.

I unraveled with aluminum foiled boat of garlic naan and again, another sensory explosion, the bread was fluffy, yet crisp all at the same time, painted with a garlic/butter herb spread it was a sight to see.

I spent no more time and dug right into the dish, absolutely excellent. The chicken, tender, juicy and full of flavor, the rice, soft, palatable and delicious. The sauce, the naan, a wonderful dance of cultures coming together.

Now, I come here at least once a week, having the same thing over and over because it is just that damn good.

TL;DR: Absolutely wonderful, definitely come here and give the butter chicken a try, you...

Would you believe the fact that the best Indian food in the DFW area is in a shopping mall that people barely go to these days? Well believe it because it is an Indian guy telling you who has been living here for 7+ years.

Here is the story, Raj the chef here used to work at Roti grill in Frisco and made it very popular. He recently left Roti grill and started his own place. If you are familiar witb Roti grill, it was once one of the best Indian places to eat in DFW, not anymore because it is missing Raj.

Raj deserves a Michelin star. I went back to India recently and was craving Raj’s cooking while I was there and I know where to eat in India. Raj is a gift to the Dallas area. Please take my word for it and experience...
