Let me start by saying, me, my daughter and my husband love Cane's. Eat there once, sometimes twice a week. It's bad, lol. We ALWAYS have a great experience, and we always order the same thing. One box combo with an extra sauce, lemonade, and no slaw, sub toast... Me and my daughter get the 6 finger combo, 2 extra sauces, no slaw sub toast, two medium cups as opposed to the large. Okay. So we get here Sunday, 6/25/17 around 6:30p. There was a family eating, and a guy solo at the tables. No one behind us or in front of us- point is, wasn't busy. We weren't greeted for maybe 2 to 3 full mins which isn't a huge thing except when you have about 4-5 people looking through the little window to the kitchen and 2 people near the drive through window, cackling and laughing... That's the issue there. So a young lady comes out, no "Hi, how we doing?" No "sorry for the wait" nothing. Just "what can I get y'all?" Strike one. So I don't act any kind of way, I just order my food exactly like I mentioned above, and tell her we're dining in. She repeats it back, then tells me my total is $26 and some change. So I very politely ask her (because with us ordering this every time, I know very well that it's supposed to be $21 and change, and I'm not a nit picker over a dollar or so, but $5 isn't happening) "ma'am, I get this pretty often and that's too much. Would you mind breaking down what you charged me for?" Just like that. So she says, "lemonade is an up charge", so I respond "I'm aware". So she goes to tapping the screen, no further answer, and after about a minute or so, says "21.73" I pay... And while I'm glad she got it to the correct price, I'm still completely unaware of the first total, and still never received an answer. So me and my daughter go to grab the drinks, they (a male) call my name. My husband goes to get the food, and asks me if I got it to go. I tell him no. He tells them we got it for here because all of our food was in a to go box. So a young lady (who was not the cashier) says "sorry about that", my husband goes to walk to grab some ketchup, and the same male calls my name again. The food is STILL in to go boxes. He comes to the table with two to go boxes, and of course I'm confused. The gentlemen told him that they were 'washing the dine in baskets so everyone is getting a to go box". HUH?!! To top that off, I open me and my daughter's box (which we always split, 3 strips a piece and split the fries, with out two sauces a piece) and go to separate it, I very literally had about 12 fries a piece for the two of us. We always dine in and always have plenty of fries between the both of us. Now I understand that everyone isn't generous, fine. But first the to go box now this?! I was ready to go 10 mins prior but at this point I was just starving so I just ate quietly... Halfway through our meal, my daughter asks for another sauce. They forgot it. At this point I was so done dealing with them I just didn't even go back up there to let them know. I just gave her mine because with 12 fries I didn't need it anyway. All in all, this experience was a HORRIBLE one. The whole time we were in the establishment all you heard was loud, obnoxious teens in the back, on top of this terrible direct customer service and dining experience. First bad experience so it won't keep me from going to our regular Cane's, but this location will never have to worry about me again and could absolutely use training in...
Read moreI LOVE CANES! Don't get me wrong, but this canes has given me the worst experience out of all of them. Ive gone to the one on Hebron and The Colony, but I live closer to the one on Main Street. They have messed up my orders 3 times in a row. The first time I asked for a 3 piece and a sandwich combo with an extra canes sauce and an extra chicken piece. When I went home I noticed I was missing the extra chicken piece I asked for. I didn't bother to complain, I have worked at fast food restaurants before. I know at times one can make a mistake. I love canes so I decided to give them another try a few weeks ago. I went back and got just 2 chicken pieces and a sandwich combo with an extra canes sauce. When I got home I had only gotten one chicken piece and my sandwich combo was really dry because they forgot the lettuce and barley even had any canes sauce. I decided to not make a big deal out of it and just put some of the extra canes sauce I asked for. I just went back to ask for the other strip cause my daughter wanted another one. When they give me the box with the chicken, it was a small piece that was more breading then chicken. I didn't say anything cause I hate complaining. I just gave my daughter some of mine. Well today I went to get something to eat. I asked for a sandwich combo, a side of fries and 3 canes sauce. I go home and start eating a few fries and I feel something weird. I pull it out and it was a hair. It was a redish, kinda brown hair. I have have black hair at he moment and my daughter and husband do as well. So it was not my hair or theirs. It was really gross. i then open my other box and see that I DID NOT get my sandwich. I do not know how many times they have to get my order wrong. THREE TIMES IN A ROW!! I love Rasing Canes but this location has been the...
Read moreOrdered food for me and my manager. Got back to work and find out I'm missing a chicken strip in my meal. I can't leave work to go back, so I called Canes and explained the situation. They connected me with someone claiming to be a manager who asked for my name to be put on a "log". She says I just need to mention my name and the log on my next visit and she'll make things right. That is all I'm told.
I come back a few days later because I live pretty far from work and that was my next scheduled work day. I give my name at the Canes and mention the log. The employee helping me comes back to tell me I'm not listed on their log. She then asked if I still had my receipt. I tell her I don't, because the "manager" didn't mention I would need it. The employee explains there's nothing she can do for me without a log name or receipt. (At this point I can tell the employee is annoyed with me, and frankly I'm annoyed with them.) I try explaining that it seems very unfair to punish me for Canes not keeping track of my information that I provided on their request. She still doesn't compromise and instead respond to me with, "Are you going to order anything or not?".
By this point I can see I'm getting nowhere. I asked to speak to a manager but the employee says they aren't on duty, so I gave her my name and phone number to let the manager call me when they where working. It's been over 3 days since I left my number and no one has called. Clearly this Canes has no care for its customers or understanding of customer service. They won't be getting my buisness, and I'll be sure to warn my co-workers to be wary.
TLDR; Didn't get all my food. Thought canes was being nice and would make it right, but when I return I'm treated very rudely over something as trivial as a...
