Taqueria Guadalajara — Restaurant in Lewisville

It was great a couple of decades ago... Now? Absolutely HORRIBLE service... If you aren't from the same culture(we assume that must've been why they were rude from the moment we walked in, which is idiotic and discriminatory as heck). Avoid this place like the PLAGUE, especially Yanny as your server, which made her unnecessary attitude that much more hilarious because we make great money - so we tip extremely well (50%-100% of our bill, depending on the service). It's all good, we gave it to some kids instead. 😊 And the "ground beef" or whatever tf that was in the taco and the torta tasted like it was either freezer burnt or came out of a can. My hubby and I had been working close by all day and THOUGHT the amazing smell was this place, but OBVIOUSLY it was not. I only took two bites of the HORRIBLE taco before just eating the beans and leaving the rest of the trash on the plate. Just gross all around. DON'T EAT HERE...

If i could give this place zero stars i would. They always try to steal your money. So before you pay make your calculations cause they will charge you extra. It has not only happen once but 4 times already that they charge me more thank $20. One time they were charging me $47 extra. No wonder they always have an empty restaurant. Their taco tortillas get hard real quick. They get mad when i go tell them that they are charging me more and we go over what they total is and it always happens that im right and they just say oh sorry we didnt notice or that they dont know why it brought up that total. I just go here cause we used to go since i was little but today its the last time since they was charging me $10 more and she just said she didnt know and that i still have to pay cause thats how much her cashier was...

The store itself is decent for the variety and amount they carry for its size (on the smaller size of what I'm used to), is always clean and has everything in stock; prices are ok (some things you can get cheaper elsewhere and some things you get really good deals on) but the cashiers could be a little more friendly. As far as the restaurant aspect, the food is great (never had an issue with flavor or feeling sick, etc), but the service is lacking in timing and accuracy. There have been several times now that I have either placed an order to take home or ordered to eat there, and they either misplaced the order or never submitted it; side note, tables are rarely ever clean (I assume because they get so busy and don't have enough staff to keep up), so always carry some type of...
