BlueFire Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lexington

Had dinner here prior to a show at Rupp Arena. Was seated immediately. When the server took our order, she didn’t write anything down (red flag). It took about 45 minutes to get food….another 15 minutes to get fruit cup that went with child’s meal. The fruit cup was underripe cantaloupe and ?pineapple core(inedible). The 3 chicken strips were served alone on a big white plate with no dipping sauce. One of us ordered shrimp and grits but actually got the Hot Brown. Another ordered salmon which was delivered alone on a big white plate, no sauce, nothing (very unpalatable). When the server was repeatedly asked for lemon wedges, finally got 3 tiny lemon slices. While the food presentation was very unappealing, the actual service was HORRIBLE! Had to ask multiple times for lemon, fruit cup, straws, etc and after lengthy wait times each time. When the food was delivered to table the plates were basically thrown down. Actually spilled food off the side and turned over a dipping sauce. Serving staff needs to be retrained on customer service and interpersonal...

We didn't have a great experience here. Would not recommend if you're coming late in the evening!

We stopped in after a show at Rupp Arena. The sign says the place closes at 10 and we and several other families showed up a little past 9. The hostess seemed flustered by several of us showing up - maybe management doesn't plan staffing very well?

We ordered a burger and the hummus appetizer, then waited over an hour for our food. The server did check on us a couple of times, but finally I had to ask him to come back to let us know what was going on. He said someone else had accidentally taken our burger to another table, and he would have the kitchen make us a new one even though the grill was officially closed by then. They did make us a new burger and even comped it, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1!

The hummus was nothing special. The pita chips and fries (with the burger) both tasted like cardboard. Definitely a frustrating experience, and we'd have been much happier going elsewhere or just not getting...

I bussed tables through a temporary service and the first day I started I wasn't even greeted properly... Just told what to do and start doing it. No hi, hello, how r u my name is..... Or nothing. I didnt even know there was a manager on duty until someone pointed him out. Funny thing is I saw him when I got there and he walked right by me looked at me and didnt even say hello. I took my break in the break room which served employees a free lunch but wasn't told about the free lunch only where to take break. I ate what I brought from home which was crackers while everyone around me ate a plate lunch. I asked when my break was over how much the lunch was they said free for employees. Lol, out of everyone in there eating no one bothered to tell me I could stand in line and get a free lunch. Its a very uncomfortable place to work. I didnt feel welcomed and they all were snobby except for one guy and the Korean lady that works there. I lasted a few days then was happy I found...
