We will not eat here again. It started off pretty good. We were greeted promptly but there were too few people inside maybe we should have taken the hint. It was quiet and everyone looked disappointed, we will later find out why. Chips with salsa and a white sauce that tasted like solid mayonnaise! But the chips were warm and salsa was decent it was just like every other Mexican restaurant salsa in town. We both ordered the T Bone w shrimp. It was $18 and came with a side salad. The issues began when the photo of the meal in the menu isn’t what you get. Side salads came first, looks pretty good right? That’s when we noticed the water. So much water in our salad plate we had to ASK FOR A PLATE TO DUMP THE WATER OUT! We decided maybe it was freshly washed and forgot to dry/spin? Well the ranch also had water. The salads didn’t get eaten. The steak with shrimp came out. The rice had zero and I mean zero flavor it tasted like nothing. No salt no pepper. The shrimp were excellent nice and seared in the sides nice flavor! but slightly over cooked but I prefer them that way. My steak that was ordered rare came out 100% well done. It’s fine, I let it go, it was a VERY THIN steak so it can happen easily. Then we ate it, well attempted. Neither of us enjoyed the steak it again was not seasoned AT ALL. We had to ask for salt pepper and A1 sauce. The A1 had WATER IN IT! We tried the Tapatio instead- it HAD WATER IN IT! Enough was enough with the water! I let the waiter know, about the steak and salad and the ranch and so on, he apologized, he actually said “yea it doesn’t look good” Instead of making it right he offered to bring us 3 extra shrimp… no thank you. We left paying a $50 tab on food we didn’t eat even after informing the waiter that we didn’t enjoy any of the food. He of course was tipped anyway it wasnt his fault. I also wrote down the list of issues on the back of the receipt. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO HACIENDA.

First time in here, I would give them another chance because I saw a dish that I want to try, just not feeling super hungry to order that today. Place was almost empty when we arrived, and continued to be like that when we left, however, service was really slow. I had the chicken tortilla soup and requested no tortilla strips; husband got Tres Garcias. Soup wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as hearty as I thought it was going to be. Plus, it’s served in a huge plate, which I personally do not like -this has nothing to do with my rating, just a personal note-, and beef and chicken burritos in the Garcias were just ok; the bean burrito had a tangy, weird flavor. We probably had really high expectations since the location looks well maintained and it has a really good atmosphere, kinda expecting an upscale Mexican restaurant. I also feel dishes could have a better presentation so it makes you to crave whatever is presented to you.

I love love to try places that give ypy totally something different then the usual mexican dishes...Campestre grill did not disappoint me at all...I sat at the bar and was takem csre.of so quick, I was very impressed with the quickness of everyone and the friendliness of the staff...so first when you get your chips and salsa you will see in the pics that they bring you 2 diff options, one of course is your salsa...great mix of spicy sweet, and the other white dip im not really sure exactly what it was but it was just a sweet sauce, almost like a tauter sauce...they have 3 diff sizes of draft beer, and I was impressed to see a wide variety of menu and to have a section that os just vegetarian...great choice for something new...check them out!!!

An interesting experience. Service and speed were very good. Took very little time for our food to arrive after ordering and our waitress was very polite and provided great service.

To be blunt the food was like Taco Bell with extra steps and more costly. I had the burritos tres (3 burritos [bean, chicken, and beef] in a queso blanco) Our party of 3 all concurred that the meat was dry and disappointing. A tell tell sign that a microwave is involved in the cooking process. The queso sauce served with the burritos was the saving grace of the dish. Chips and salsa were the highlight of the meal.

Lastly, while discussing the questionable quality of our meals, we watched as a manager was engaging in PDA with our waitress in plain customer view. Personally, I’m not a fan of watching someone massaging an employee’s shoulders while I’m eating. Fitting the location used to be an Applebee’s as the inside could be the Applebee’s of Mexican restaurants.

Buyer beware basically. Results may vary. I won’t be going back, wouldn't recommend if you aren’t interested in...

We have tried this place TWICE. Both times I was super grossed out. Shame on me for going the 2nd time. I guess I thought it would be better...or maybe I caught it on the wrong day the 1st time? The inside is very well decorated. You can tell some serious $ had been spent getting it together. The food was cold both times we went and it is probably pretty expensive to have a business in Beaumont but you could tell that they were really trying to cut costs with the portions they served. The second time I went I ordered the pork carnitas (can’t even remember what I got the first time) they were no-bueno. I was so grossed out (and I love carnitas) I couldn’t come close to finishing and definitely did NOT take the food home with me. In fact, it was so nasty it grosses me out to even think about it:( I will never go back. On another note- We just tried La Marquesa (hole in the wall on Clays Mill) and it was the BOMB. If you are in the Beaumont area and want an authentic, hot meal, drive over...
