Had very high hopes for this experience and sadly left very disappointed. Today was my best friend’s birthday, so we went to eat with two other friends and had two kids with us. We are all servers and work in the restaurant industry so we know what exceptional service is, and what isn’t. We didn’t expect much of a wait late on a Monday afternoon but didn’t mind waiting 25 minutes for our table. We were sat and greeted as usual. Our server Lauren was taking our drink orders and entrée orders on drink napkins… We told our server it was my friend’s birthday, she didn’t acknowledge it at all. We then asked for our picture to be taken, a group photo, when she dropped off our drinks. We were met with a rude attitude and asked “Like, right now? Um, I have other tables that need me so let me go greet them and then I guess I’ll take it when I get back, if you want.” We instantly felt unwelcome. When she did come back to take our photo, she didn’t bother making sure everyone was in the picture, nor did she mention that the camera needed to be cleaned off. The pictures were awful and blurry, the angle was horrible, and I wasn’t even fully in the pictures. She took them so quick, it was obvious that she didn’t care. We also had multiple issues with the food, having one sirloin steak sent back, and a side sent back because it was completely wrong. Both times we mentioned something being wrong, we were met with a rude attitude as if we were inconveniencing the staff. The birthday girl ordered a sirloin medium well, with a PLAIN baked potato and corn as her two sides. She received her plate with a fully loaded baked potato and was missing her corn. She asked if she could get a new potato and her corn and was asked “Oh, so you don’t want that one?” No. She ordered a plain baked potato with a side of butter. They took her entire plate, even though she was clearly eating her steak. They brought back her plate with a plain potato, no butter and her side of corn, but it was obvious that her steak had been put back on the grill and cooked way past well-done — Which wasn’t the issue. It was so past well-done that the BIRTHDAY GIRL could no longer eat her steak. She’s fine with medium-well and well-done steak… but this one was burnt and completely tough. Not another bite was taken because the steak knife wouldn’t even cut through it. I ordered a sirloin as well, but ordered mine medium-rare. I expected a steakhouse to know how to properly cook steaks… Not this one. My plate arrived with a medium to medium-well steak depending on the end you cut into because of the uneven shape. I asked for a new steak and moved my baked potato to a side plate. My new steak came back and the manager said “Is that steak better?” I replied “I think so! Thank you.” The manager said “Um, are you gonna cut into it?” I said “Oh, sure.” it was cooked much better so I said “Yes, it’s perfect. Thank you so much.” The manager gave a nod, rolled her eyes, and walked away. The point of a manager is to help any inconvenience on the customer’s end and try to make the dining experience better for the customer. I felt completely disrespected and like an inconvenience. We needed refills fairly early into our dinner, which was ignored any time our server was by. We had to ask her twice for refills, also having to repeat all of our drink orders to her because she no longer had the NAPKIN she took our drinks on. The strawberry Margarita my friend had to celebrate her birthday was completely mixed incorrectly and was so strong she could barely drink it. She is in a relationship with a bartender so she is completely familiar with mixed drinks. This was one of the worst she’d had. It was not a joyful experience that we’d hoped. I never leave negative reviews, usually the opposite but I want to prevent this experience from happening to anyone else. Maybe our server wasn’t having the best day, I’m not sure. The rest of the staff disappointed us further. We won’t be celebrating any occasion, nor dining at this specific location until...
Read moreI called a day ahead of time to make reservations for 8 people for a birthday party. They informed me that they do not take reservations. So, the following day I went 15 minutes early to reserve a table because we had elderly and disabled people in our party. They would not let us be seated with 6 people, all 8 people had to be there. One of our party went to the restroom, after all had arrived and they still wouldn't seat us until she returned from the restroom, inside their building. Ridiculous is an understatement! The problem is there is NO WAITING AREA, NO PLACE TO SEAT ELDERLY OR DISABLED PEOPLE WHO CAN NOT STAND AND THEY DO NOT CARE!!! THEY TELL YOU TO WAIT OUTSIDE AND IF YOU ARE COLD TO WAIT INSIDE YOUR CAR. If you have ever dealt with physically challenged individuals, you know it is not easy getting them in and out of the car, you sure don't want to have to get them back to the car and out again. I expressed my concerns multiple times and they had a lackadaisical attitude, simply showed little concern or empathy for the elderly or handicapped. 😢 The restaurant wasn't packed at this point either. There were plenty of tables open. Once we got seated, we had (2) separate tables and (2) separate waiters. So, they could have easily set us earlier, given our party had separate tables. The food is and has always been mediocre, not an upscale dining establishment but a middle of the road steakhouse, step above fast food. It is not good enough to keep us coming back, considering the treatment that we received on this particular day. We are disgusted with the employees and managers behavior towards handicapped customers, in particular. Clearly, they have never heard of ADA. They kept asking what we wanted. We simply wanted to be seated. The hostess didn't know what to do exactly, only her 3rd day on the job. She was lost and not helpful. Apparently, we asked for too much. Btw: My steak was overcooked but that was our least issue at hand. I did not survey the other parties with us but I saw some food being picked up by our waiter and untouched. We were all so blown away at their general attitudes and the treatment received, I think the food was our secondary issue, not even worth mentioning after everything else that had transpired. We celebrated there quite frequently because it is a convenient location for everyone. Going forward, we will take our business to Longhorn. Good riddins. We will not return or recommend!!! Update: They asked me to reach out to them so I did, a further waste of my time, no response from their end. My overall impression is the establishment is ran poorly from management...
Read morei would give this texas roadhouse location 5 stars but dropped it to 3 stars because husband & i ate there twice in 1 week while on a vacation and the first visit was excellent and the 2nd visit was terrible. i recommend if you eat here get a steak or a prime rib as that's the specialty and don't come to this place on a sunday and order some obscure meal on the menu. we ate here for dinner during the week and hubby got a steak & i got a prime rib. the food was excellent along with our server. everything was perfect. so we decided to eat here again on a sunday. bad decision. the place was a madhouse and was in chaos. we had to wait to be seated but not too long. i believe someone other than our server came to our table and asked if we wanted rolls because none had been brought to our table. we replied yes. our server didn't seem to be on the ball and gave me the impression he didn't care about his job. he took our orders. i wanted a grilled salmon and i told him no salt or seasoning just to plain grill it. how hard is that? my husband wanted ribs. when our food came someone different came to our table and asked me to try my salmon. i did and it was salty and dry. the veggies were not cooked thru. i told that person to please take it back. then someone else came to our table (not sure if a mgr) and told me they were cooking me another salmon and she took away my plate. she said it would be right out. meanwhile my husband ate his meal without comment on it. we waited for my new plate of food to come and it never did. no one came over to check on us. my husband then said that he couldn't finish his ribs because they were dry and overcooked. i really think they had no intention of bringing me a replacement. we got up and left and as we passed our server who was delivering something to a table i said we were done with this place. he just looked at us and said nothing. i ended up at our motel where i had a bowl of soup. i don't know why we had 3 diff people waiting on us instead of our server who should have been responsible for our table. i would only recommend eating at this place during the week at hours its not real busy. we'll never eat here again on a sunday or weekend. by the way i would be very cautious reading 5 star reviews from people that are new reviewers that have nothing to say but just give a review. instead read the low reviews first and then make...
