Great Harvest Bread Co. — Restaurant in Lexington

The food is good, the employees are nice, but I was in there one time when either the manager or owner was having a bad day. It reflected badly upon the business with the manner in which she comported herself within earshot of customers. The reply below from the owner is just a further reflection of her unprofessionalism. Extremely disappointed. I wanted to like this place, it's quaint with friendly staff...BUT the sandwiches were beyond a disappointment. This was the worst lunch I ate in 2020. The panini sandwich had lettuce on it, which I missed on the menu, but panini sandwiches should never have lettuce. Cooked lettuce just tastes gross. I love this little restaurant. I was super sad to see GHBC move from the heart of Lexington to a 5 minutes drive up the road, but I can understand why. The rent in Lexington is astronomical and this new spot has some lovely outside seating and the interior is sweet and simple.
