KFC — Restaurant in Lexington

What a bad experience for me! We ordered thru the drive-thru. A simple order just for me… two piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and a small drink. We paid the lady and was asked to move forward. Several cars began to move in behind us. We noticed several other customers parked to the right in a marked area. Being of average patience, we waited…and waited, and waited, and waited, etc. After thirty minutes of wait time I began to grow concerned. ( Keep in mind I had been waiting for two pieces of chicken). Previously I had witnessed a lady die with a heart attack sitting at my table while eating at a Pizza Hut and my brother-in-law was a victim of a stroke and was found dying lying on his office all alone. I have learned over the years that bad things can happen at odd times and in in unexpected places. After waiting and watching people, including myself, become more anxious and frustrated, I became more concerned about the employees inside. At this time the doors were locked, preventing entry. I made the decision to call the police to check on the employees inside. When the officer arrived and I was attempting to explain the reason for my call, he told me that this was a civil matter and that this was a problem between the customers and KFC. I explained that.our problem was not knowing if anyone was injured or in danger inside and that as a police officer it should be his concern also and his responsibility was to check the scene. Not to teach me the difference between civil and criminal law. Now back to KFC, Lexington, SC. Something really should be done to improve the service to the community and traveling public or this business should be closed. ##### May God bless all our first responders, especially our men and ladies in BLUE that put there lives on the line each day...

Thus place needs some help. Ordered my food at 5:50pm for a 6:15pm pick up. Somehow I did not get my food till 7:04pm

Details. *5:52pm- Order placed *6:20pm -Arrived at KFC

*6:25pm -Told they need to cook the pot. pie will be 20 mins( No one in line inside the restaurant was servicing drive-through)

6:26pm- 6:45pm Staff extremely confused on who orders is what, Someone seem to be a Manager, was speaking to an employee is a disrespectful way and looked very irritated and stressed out. Food was not being prep and or cook in any process way. Look to be total chaos with no process in place.

6:55pm-Front end person yelling back. There's the guy that still waking on 2 pot pies ans his order been over 30 mins. Someone that looks to be a Manager said, maybe he left already. (Was extremely unprofessional) Front end person replied back he's still here. I than spoke up saying it's been close to 1 hr now.

7:05 - order received. I mention to the front end person. Dont be stressed out. Calm down, thing will be ok. She reply back thankyou, while speaking with her I checked my order and the sides was wrong. NO Mac and cheese or biscuits. Instead I had 2 coleslaw and something else. 7:10pm- Side was repacked with correct sides.

Overall time was 55min. All around experience was terrible. During the time drive-through was backed up. Two other customers had long wait times. There was other guests that came in seen the...

Not the best experience today. The lady working helped me with my order because I couldn’t see the menu that well. I was very appreciative. I asked for mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese as my sides. She read it back as mashed potatoes and Cole slaw and then corrected it to Mac n cheese. I repeated Mac n cheese just to be sure we got it right. After that I paid, and asked for sauces before I went to leave. I’ve never had to pay for sauces but this time the lady was obviously aggravated and told me I have to pay for them and I should have told her I wanted sauces before I paid. I did not know that and if that’s the case they need to let you know while you’re ordering or put it on the menu. She handed me the sauces, I offered to pay still, and she sent me on my way because she didn’t want to open another check for 50 cents. I apologized and left. Once I got home I looked inside of the box to have Cole slaw and not Mac n cheese. Kinda upsetting! I got the 3 piece chicken as the meal and my 3rd piece of chicken was tiny (should not count as a 3rd piece lol. I would’ve just got 2 if this is what I was going to get and paid less.) on top of all of that my chicken is so dry compared to normal. I literally never complain about stuff like this but I just paid about 15$ for a meal I can barely eat anything from. And felt like I was a burden in the drive thru. So no, I’m not...
