Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Leyden Township

This used to be my go to BR/DD even though I had to go out of my way but that changed today when my daughter & I stood by the ice cream waiting for someone to come & help us for more than 5 minutes, no other customers waiting. Even though employees were walking by & changing some of the empty ice creams out for full ones, no one ever asked us if we needed help with anything. I ended up making eye contact with a lady behind the counter on the opposite side of the store & she’s waving me over - I walk to the other side of the store (it was recently remodeled & has a longer layout than most other stores) she tells me I have to order there - I said “so I have to come over here just to walk back over there to tell you what I want? How does that makes sense?” Basically, they want you to pay 1st & then they will walk to the other side to prepare what you ordered - I don’t have a problem with paying 1st but as a customer, don’t make me stand there while the employees are either walking back & forth past me or staring at me from the other side of the store, essentially waiting for me to come to you. I told her she should of walked over to us & asked us to come & pay 1st instead of standing there & waiting for your customers to figure out you don’t want to move & want them to come to you while you simply stand there. I left without ordering & have no plans on going back to this DD anymore- there’s way too many more to...

Went in for an Affogato(scoop of ice cream + espresso shot). I've ordered this exact same thing at 4 different Dunkin's and never had an issue. Today the kid behind the counter didn't even know what it was so he asked his coworker and she told him they don't have that. We explained to the kid and the young lady (Dolce) what it was and she said the system was updated and no longer has it. We left. Why couldn't she have just charged me for a scoop of ice cream and a shot? She wasn't even willing to do that! Won't be going back...
