My hubby just had a horrible experience here at the EP Jimmy Johns. They made both of our sandwiches incorrectly, and when we called and complained, they said to come back in & they would make them the correct way (without Mayo) Pretty nice right? You would think so, but instead they inspected both the sandwiches when he brought them back and accused my husband of eating the meat on the sandwich. Give me a break!! Were they saving those sandwiches for someone? I don't think so, so then they took a super long time remaking the correct way, and then called (someone) Possibly the manager? to tell them that there was meat missing from the sandwich. They don't seem to care that it took extra gas to go there and back...Just that there was meat missing from the sandwich. However what they don't know is that my hubby is allergic to Mayonaise and he could not even chance eating meat that could possibly have Mayo on it. one word SORRY is what they said, not we are sorry, not so sorry you had to come all the way back....Just Sorry. Not very nice, and we used to go there...
Read moreI usually don’t write reviews but this really tussled my feathers! I go to this location a bunch….I have never had a problem except for today. The manager? The man who is the cashier was extremely rude. I stopped at Burgers King right before coming here-for my youngest child who won’t eat a sub. The cup holding her slushy was leaking- no problem…I’ll just get a cup at Jimmy Johns to put it in….walk in (holding the leaking slushy) ask the guy for a cup & he literally tells me NO can’t do it unless I pay for it! I was like I’m ordering food with drinks just need extra cup! Nope was 100% serious, wanted me to buy a cup….like don’t people every ask for cups for water?? Give me one of those! He was acting like I was going to steal a soft drink! Such a same because this is our normal Jimmy Johns…if my child forgets lunch I ordered & have it delivered to school but I will NEVER go back to the EP location & will tell everyone I know how ridiculous this place is! Who does that?...
Read morePlaced my order on the app and did not realize it defaults to the Elmwood Park location that’s 9 minutes away instead of our nearest location at the Brickyard (which I love and have never had a problem with) 36 minutes later was wondering where my food was so I called and it seems as though the store has to call uber to do the delivery and they just forgot?? Because once I called I received a message stating the delivery was just set up. Which tells me it probably was forgotten and would not have been done until I called. Once the food arrived an hour later the bag was soaked in oil from sitting there for 50 minutes, and my husband’s tuna sandwich was inedible. He called to ask if we can just bring the food back and receive a refund since we lost our appetite at that point and the young lady on the phone stated they are not able to and there was no manager there until tomorrow. $40 wasted, will make sure that I choose the correct location on the app...
