I ordered delivery for dinner and got the jollof rice with assorted meat plate for $21. The food arrived on time, well-packaged, and still warm, which I really appreciated. The portion size was generous for the price, and everything looked fresh and well-prepared.
The jollof rice had a great balance of spice and flavorāsavory with just the right amount of heat. It wasnāt too dry or too soft, and each bite was really enjoyable. The assorted meats were another highlight. All the pieces were tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The flavors were bold without being overpowering, and the meat had a nice texture that made the meal even more satisfying.
Iāve also been inside the store before, and the experience was just as good. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well-organized. Itās nice to see that the quality of the food is consistent whether youāre dining in or ordering delivery.
I also liked that the food wasnāt overly greasy or too salty. It felt well-balanced and filling without being too heavy. For the price, I think it was a great value, especially considering the portion size and quality. This was my first time ordering delivery from here, and Iād definitely do it again. Looking forward to trying more from the menu...

I stayed in Chicago this weekend and one thing I was determined to get was some Nigerian food and I did so today . I googled the nearest cuisine and saw this place . Decent reviews so I gave them a try . Customer service was great , I must say . Now letās get into the food , I ordered the full talapia fish w/jollof rice , assorted meat w/jollof rice and one single goat meat . I gave the food 2 stars simply because of the rice , the rice was delicious and appeared to be really fresh , the taste itself of the flavoring that layered the meats was delicious as well . As you all know the meat is always completely covered so you really canāt tell until you dig in . Iāve noticed at other African restaurants that the meat always taste old just as this one did . It seemed extremely hard and just outdated but was warmed up as if it was freshly made . Iām extremely disappointed š. I spent a total of 50.02 because I added two sodas ⦠Thereās no reason they should be serving old meat especially old fish . Unfortunately I...
