I ate here last night with my family and close friends. We were a big group of Puerto Ricans that love to try food from other cultures. The woman behind the delicious food came out to greet us, and explain each dish and how it’s prepared and eaten. I thought it was so nice of her to take time to explain every dish to us. we ended up trying a little bit of everything and we will definitely be back again. We were looking for a Nigerian restaurant close to home and I’m glad we found one. Thank you so much! (sorry my food pictures aren’t that pretty 🤣 I was focused on eating)

This place offered me and my family such a beautiful experience for my 21st birthday. The owner and cook of the restaurant and staff created such a wonderful space for us to really feel like we were at home. It was my first time trying African cuisine and I was blown away with the flavor and deliciousness of the food. The Pepper soup and the Jollof rice were so flavorful, and everything else was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful time and amazing food! We’ll definitely be back :)

Was confused when I went in, but it's 2 restaurants at this location. The lady was super nice and friendly. Had their fufu with egusi soup and assorted meat and fufu with stewed spinach and assorted meat. The food was great. I would love to and will be coming back to try the other menu items. Going from a 4 star to a 5 star Had their fufu with stewed spinach and tilapia, jollof rice and pepper stew. It was excellent.

I ordered delivery for dinner and got the jollof rice with assorted meat plate for $21. The food arrived on time, well-packaged, and still warm, which I really appreciated. The portion size was generous for the price, and everything looked fresh and well-prepared.

The jollof rice had a great balance of spice and flavor—savory with just the right amount of heat. It wasn’t too dry or too soft, and each bite was really enjoyable. The assorted meats were another highlight. All the pieces were tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The flavors were bold without being overpowering, and the meat had a nice texture that made the meal even more satisfying.

I’ve also been inside the store before, and the experience was just as good. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well-organized. It’s nice to see that the quality of the food is consistent whether you’re dining in or ordering delivery.

I also liked that the food wasn’t overly greasy or too salty. It felt well-balanced and filling without being too heavy. For the price, I think it was a great value, especially considering the portion size and quality. This was my first time ordering delivery from here, and I’d definitely do it again. Looking forward to trying more from the menu...

So I’m the type of person that when I get a craving I’m going to get it asap . I stayed in Chicago this weekend and one thing I was determined to get was some Nigerian food and I did so today . I googled the nearest cuisine and saw this place . Decent reviews so I gave them a try . Customer service was great , I must say . Now let’s get into the food , I ordered the full talapia fish w/jollof rice , assorted meat w/jollof rice and one single goat meat . I gave the food 2 stars simply because of the rice , the rice was delicious and appeared to be really fresh , the taste itself of the flavoring that layered the meats was delicious as well . As you all know the meat is always completely covered so you really can’t tell until you dig in . I’ve noticed at other African restaurants that the meat always taste old just as this one did . It seemed extremely hard and just outdated but was warmed up as if it was freshly made . I’m extremely disappointed 😔. I spent a total of 50.02 because I added two sodas … There’s no reason they should be serving old meat especially old fish . Unfortunately I...

From the moment you walk into this charming little spot, you’re wrapped in a cozy, comforting atmosphere that truly feels like home. The aroma from the kitchen instantly brings to mind family gatherings and meals made with love.

Every dish is clearly prepared with care—nothing feels rushed or overly complicated, just honest, flavorful food that warms the heart. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh, and the seasoning just right. I especially loved the [insert specific dish, e.g., “slow-cooked stew” or “handmade tortillas”]—it reminded me of something my grandmother used to make.

The staff are kind and welcoming, treating you more like a guest than a customer. You can tell they take pride in what they serve and genuinely want everyone to have a good experience.

If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, savor every bite, and feel right at home, this is it. A true hidden gem that fills both your stomach and...
