I was looking forward to ordering here for the first time tonight. I've lived in the neighborhood for over 12 years and shop locally as I am a big advocate for supporting local businesses. I have been a long time customer of a close by pizza place, but wanted to try something different. I pulled up Villa Napoli's menu online and though I'd typically order online and have it delivered, I figured I call and pick up. Why not stop in a meet them for the first time! I called, gave my order and the girl said she'd call me back and confirm my order and give me a price. She called back instantly and gave my husband a price. The price was $10.00 more than what was listed online for the same items. I called back and was told prices were subject to change, which I understood. It's business and things change, but a $10.00 difference and I'm picking up? That is a big variance. The girl then said, "we just raised our prices and haven't had the chance to update them online." I then asked her, "had I ordered online and picked up, would my prices have been the online price?" She said yes! She then suggested I talk to the owner. The owner was immediately defensive and raised his voice saying "we changed our prices and that is what it is." I said, a $10.00 difference? He continued to shout, "those are the prices!" I couldn't believe how rude and disrespectful this man was. I told him I understood, but such a big difference was crazy! If it were a few dollars, not a problem, I'd happily pay--again; I'm all for supporting local. I was appalled at his reaction--not a sorry mam, or any concern for keeping business. Because of his total lack of respect, I asked him to cancel my order and his response was "Never call here again!!! You are scammers!!!" I mean, after that awful reaction, did he actually think I'd want to patronize his business? Unbelievable. As a woman in business, I can never understand how a fellow business owner can lack simple customer service skills! His response was totally unacceptable. No, I'm not a scammer; in fact, I'm a loyal customer and would be happy to refer a good business to others. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. Called to order a to-go pizza, spoke with the owner + cashier over the phone in regards to what I wanted and the owner is a complete OLD FART, he was so rude over the phone, as well as the cashier (Mariam). These people have no customer service skills. I came to pick-up the pizza and asked the cashier "how much was the ranch? I'd like to get some", she said "its fine I won't charge you", and then came back with the ranch saying sorry the owner said you have to pay for the ranch, I mean I don't mind paying $1 for an extremely small container of ranch but the fact she was going to give it to me but the owner said no make sure you charge her that dollar just showed he has no value for customers. Disgusting attitude! HERES THE BEST PART---------- I go home to enjoy my pizza and what to I find? A box full of burnt pizza slices. I honestly don't what the hell these people were thinking when they thought it'd be okay to give a customer a box of pizza like this. I didn't even bother calling or going back for a remake or refund because I know the owner is big CHEAPSKATE, and I wanted to avoid the headache. WILL NOT GO BACK. I ordered from this place because my vegetarian friend told me of their veggie special that is good,but to my surprise my vegetarian pizza had sausage!!! I don't eat pork!!!! I called to let them know about the mistake!!!the lady that I spoke too did not believe me!! She said you might had ordered " villa napoli special pizza" for a second I doubted myself,but I would never order something with sausage!!! I told her I did not!!! She said she couldn't do anything until 5pm when the delivery driver came with the receipt!!!!! What!!!!! She said you can order another pizza!!!!! I said I'm not going to pay again, then she said you can contact grub hub!!! I can't believe this!!! How do you not see the vegetarian in the order!!!! And what I liked the most is that she told me, it's been pretty slow and puts me on hold and tells me the cook said it was the napoli special not the vegetarian special!!!! The nerve of this place!!!
