Tasty World Restaurant (aka Tasty Savor) — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Our office orders from Tasty world at least once a week. Up until today everything has been good. We ordered chicken tenders and they arrived very dry and overcooked. Not the standard we have come to expect from Tasty World or that we would expect from anywhere. When we called, as a long time, decent size customer we were told the following. "Do you want me to half cook the chicken!", then walked around the restaurant asking customer while on the phone with us "Is your food good, is your food ok?". When we asked to speak with the manager he said he was but refused to give his name and then hung up on us. This was not needed and extremely poor customer service. I used to come to Tasty World every week religiously for their amazing food when I worked close to the area, but my job moved and I haven't been there in years up until yesterday (3/24/22). When I came back I noticed it was under new ownership and was a little sceptical at first, but I was craving gyros so I ordered. The new staff was really friendly, especially the owner and the cook. The gyros were better than I remembered. I also asked owner what was Shawarma because I never had one before. When she explained it to me I had to try it and it was soooo good. This place is a total lie. For starters, the food is bland - which is hard to accomplish with Greek food. The portions are a joke, which contrasts the ridiculous price they are charging. I had to pay $4 for a morsel of unseasoned "Deluxe" Fries with a sprinkling of feta cheese. To make it all worse, they lay a thick layer of fries across the bottom of their gyro plate and cover it up beautifully with that mediocre meat. So when you take a bite you think "Eh, this is somewhat worth I guess." Then you pull up a 3 pound fry and reconsider your decision in waking up today. I wish I could give 0 stars.
