We arrived on a Sunday afternoon at 1pm. we were told to have a seat anywhere, we found a booth and sat down. We were confused on if we had a server or if we were to use the QR code on the table tents to order. After about 10 minutes a server came by and gave us menus. We then had to wait another 10 to 15 mins for a different server to come and take our order. This server seemed overwhelmed with the amount of work she had to do. We ordered all our food and drink at once to save her the trouble and get our order in as soon as possible. We ordered the Nachos and Piggies in a blanket for apps water and tea for drinks and i ordered the Brisket plate and pulled pork sandwhich. the apps arrived about 15 mins after we ordered them which was not bad. the apps were good and we enjoyed them even though we still had not gotten our drinks. We were done with the apps and still had not gotten our drinks. The server finally came by and we were able to remind her she had not gotten our drinks. She finally got our drinks to us around 215pm. We sat and waited for our food and at 2:40 flagged our server down to ask is she cold give us an idea of when our food would be ready. She left to check. About 10 minutes later the Manager came out and said that somehow our food order had disappeared and was not in the system and he would put a rush on it to get it out. he took our order again. About 3pm we finally got our dinner order. There order was correct with the exception of the Pulled pork sandwich was brought out as a puled pork plate. At this point we just ate is as this had already been possibly the worst dining experience we've had. As far as the food goes. Both the Brisket and the pulled pork were 30% fat or more. The portion on the brisket was small and loaded with fat. The manager did comp the Pulled pork plate and give us 20% off. I doubt we will ever come back. There needs to be a major focus on training servers on attentiveness. Most any good server or manager when bringing out apps and seeing you still done have drinks would have immediately corrected the issue. The lack of attentiveness to the table causing us to have to send them looking for our food order should not have had to be done. I have worked in the food industry for years and understand the challenges finding help and dealing with being short staffed but there is no excuse for the lack of organization. Our table was not the only one in this situation a table behind us had still not gotten there food that sat about an hour before we left. Hope they get the service figured out or they too will close like...
Read more100% honest review. I was very excited to come to this place, because I had saw it on an Instagram reel My friend and I had dinner at another place, but decided to stop by for a drink. So we sat at two empty seats at the bar. Initially, the bartender wasn’t very welcoming, But shortly after I ordered my first drink things escalated. The gentleman sitting to my right, kept engaging in conversation with me and my friend, I ordered my drink, Immediately tasting it, it was overwhelmingly peach. I asked the bartender if I could trade it for something else. She rolled her eyes and said it’s a peach flavored drink what did you think you were getting. She said she would swap it out In a moment, In the midst of waiting for a new drink, the gentleman to my right, was continuing to engage with me and my friend. My friend was doing a Snapchat filter on her phone and put the camera on me. We were laughing and the guy leaned in to be in the video. Immediately the bartender runs over and Begins to yell at the man saying it’s not appropriate that we are taking Snapchat videos of him and posting him. Mind you, I’m sitting right there, listening to her talk about us and be very rude. So I looked at her and said, ma’am, we will delete the video he was the one that leaned in, but will delete it. She did not even acknowledge me, and continued to talk about us to this man. She walked away and did not come back for a while and never got me a new drink. She completely ignored us from that point forward. The man apologized he was uncomfortable, Me and my friend were extremely uncomfortable. I will probably never return to this establishment. If that was her boyfriend she needs to be more professional. Furthermore, when I address the situation, I would’ve at least expected a response. And also don’t talk about your customers like they’re not sitting there. So unprofessional, so uncomfortable. The bartender had dark hair, and the only female behind the bar. This was yesterday...
Read moreWe had brunch there today, and I’m really disappointed in quality of the food this time, honestly last few times has not been as good as when it first opened.
Today was different.
Pros our server was excellent, he was courteous, kind and respectful. No notes.
Cons: Your food quality has gone totally downhill.
Our table ordered:
Whole Darn Farm: Pros Cowboy potatoes were excellent, great texture, lots of flavor. Cons: Sausage is house made but no real flavor or seasoning. Eggs, no seasoning, pretty bland, we’ve had better from Waffle House.
Gravy Train: Pros lots of sausage in gravy, needs seasoning, just kinda of bland. Not expected from southern cooking style. Cowboy potatoes are doing a lot of the heavy lifting on this meal, again really tasty. Cons: Biscuits aren’t really biscuits, tasted more and textured similar to an English muffin. Biscuits should be fluffy and soft on the inside.
Brisket Baby: Pros Cowboy potatoes, bun was delicious. Cons: Cowboy Sauce is just spicy but not flavorful, housemade pickles were meh, brisket was dry
Sunday Sinner: Pros it was French toast and tasted like French toast you could find at any Dennys or diner.
Cons: This is the description from their menu: White chocolate & blueberry bread puddin’ french toast + Lemon curd + Vanilla whipped cream
The toast was not bread pudding, it was just regular bread, that was topped with blue berries and white chocolate chips. It did have whip cream but there was no lemon curd.
Drinks were fine, except Bloody Mary, I’m not sure what drink mix you guys use but it is watered down, no seasoning whatsoever, not even tobacco sauce could save this. It was also kind of translucent red color, like they cut...
