Well, I can officially cross DRAGON EGGS off of my list of unique things I’ve eaten! 🐉 🥚 Oishii Japanese Bistro in Powell is one of the best spots in Central Ohio for delicous seafood and sushi. Everything is so fresh, the service is incredible, and the amount of unique items on the menu is worth the trip alone! 🍣 Oishii Japanese Bistro 8 N Liberty St Unit 100, Powell, OH 43065 #sushi #sushilover #sushiroll #sushirolls #bestsushi #dragoneggs #japanesefood #oishii #uniquefood #uniquefoods #crazyfood #weirdfoodcombos #deliciousfood #powellohio #centralohio #columbusohio #cbusohio #cbusfoodscene #columbusfoodie #ohio

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I wanted to have a nice dinner with my mom and decided to give this sushi place a shot. We ordered salmon skin roll, omg roll, rainbow roll, and Venus roll. It took more than 30mins to get our food with only 5 tables at the restaurant. When we got our food we were extremely disappointed. The sushi was absolutely disgusting! We’re not ones to waste food so we tried to finish what we could but the omg roll was definitely omg for sure. Omg it was probably the nastiest thing I have ever seen and eaten. We didn’t finish it because it was so bad and once we finished our dinner, we waited for another 30 mins for our server to come back and give us our check. Our server was nice and okay but didn’t really come back that often to give us more water or tea. We told her that the omg roll was gross and she didn’t offer to take it off. We asked her if she could so she went to her manager and they did take it off. This is where it went even more down hill. They told the chefs that we didn’t like the food and many of the chefs and servers kept giving us dirty looks and were laughing at us. Not how you should treat your paying customers. Are we not allowed to have our own opinions? So we left and noticed that our stomachs started hurting. We came home and we had to rush to the bathroom immediately. We got super super sick and even threw up. The entire time we were gaging and had to drink some hot water to cool our stomachs down. Over all would not recommend to anyone at all whatsoever. Disgusting food and awful service.

Woah I am so glad I finally got to stop by here with a friend! The whole atmosphere is so fun from the Pokemon at the bar area, to the sushi bar, and overall decoration of the place. They had a little rush going on but we were greeted quickly and sat pretty fast. My favorite was that Brianna had a little cheat sheet menu she had taken the time to mark what was popular, her personal favorites, new items, vegetarian options! It was so helpful and I've never seen a place do that before with such a personal touch. We went with the calamari for an appetizer and the sauce combined with it was some of the best I have ever had. For an entree we got the seashore rolls! Seriously best sushi to ever grace my taste buds, me and my friend couldn't stop gushing about how tasty it was. For an entree I got chicken Yakisoba, she did warn the plates and serving size was huge and I was not disappointed! The flavor was delicious and so filling and the chicken was divine. The miso soup that came with the entree was also very delicious and I love that there was no skimping on the tofu! And the salad was perfect and so refreshing to eat, nice and cold and crisp, and the dressing came in chilled little glasses which I had never seen before but really added a nice touch to the salad! Also loved the lo-fi music they played made for a nice calm and rejuvenating lunch :) I'm so glad they choose Powell as there location, I can not wait to come back!

I used to be a regular customer here. Once a week we would come in same order every time. The last four times that I have tried to eat at this restaurant my order has gotten so messed up that it was inedible.

I order very simply yakasoba with chicken carrots and onions only nothing else. Every single time it comes out wrong. I have to send it back or just not have lunch at all.

Today I ordered the same thing. It's nothing against the server but somehow it got lost in translation that all I wanted were noodles chicken onions and carrots. What I got was combination of a lot of things but mostly egg. Now I had an order that was incorrect or flat out wrong. If I were a server I would have taken the plate immediately. I told them twice it was wrong and I just could not eat it. There was very little chicken in mostly scrambled egg? Never ordered eggs never asked for eggs I don't even like eggs. It looks like chicken until you pull it apart it's egg.

I went to leave and asked for my check as I had two sips of diet Coke. They offered to remake it but I did not feel comfortable after sending it back. The kicker is they even charged me for the diet Coke? I wasted probably half an hour 40 minutes or so They should have just taken the plate and apologized. I don't know if they wanted me to wait to a manager got there because they said they couldn't do anything until the manager got there. I had just got back from chemo and I did not want to wait. I gave them $6 for a diet Coke and the rest of tip and left.

Last year the food was fabulous here but it's gone downhill. Very disappointing - Don't...
