The food was consistent and the service was great I'm not sure what else to say.
Now if you've never been to a skyline, you may or may not like the food. They have a chili that they put on top of spaghetti noodles. Next, they had a bunch of cheese on top of the chili. It is the Cincinnati chili that some like and some don't, and if I had not said that, you never would have noticed. For me it's about the hot sauce that they give me that I can put on top of it.
I always get a large five-way, which means that they add things like beans and onions. Just thinking about it I might have to go there for dinner.
After moving to Ohio, I did not care for it the first few times, but after I figured out the whole hot sauce thing I grew to really like it.
They give you these oyster crackers and everyone knows what oyster crackers are like so nothing more to say about that.
They have these tiny little hot dogs that they can put the chili in the cheese on if you want. And yes I like to add the hot sauce to those little hot dogs as well.
They have other things like decent salads. As well as some tasty desserts.
For certain you'll get good service. If you haven't tried it, you really should. The food will at least be fresh consistent and fresh.

Not only is the premise of the entire dish flawed, but the execution was TERRIBLE! The brown sauce was bland. No attempts were made to draw the flavors (pumpkin spice esque flavors) out to the forefront. The noodles were overcooked, with no salt or butter. The mountain of cheese was comical - what was I suppose to do with that much cold grated cheese? The chili was certainly not hot enough to melt any of it. Did I miss something? Was I suppose to take this home and bake it myself? It was good for a laugh and a story, but was completely inedible. I'm tempted to try this dish at home to see if the recipe or the execution was worse. (Can good Cincinnati chili be done?) But this wound up in the garbage after four persistent bites. I can't even rave about my back up salad, which was literally served in a soggy...
Read moreA bit disappointed in service. The food is good and I've always been to skyline in Northside.
It was just an accumulation of small things. Waitress did not bring a menu, had to ask for one. Then she only brought me one, not my husband.
Food was fast, but getting a refill was slowww. Then a waitress started vacuuming. Not a quiet Bissell, but rather a full blown loud vacuum. Couldn't really hold a conversation. Then slow to get bill.
Waiting for stuff wouldn't have been an issue had they been busy, but there was only one other table besides us in the entire building. It's not like she was bombarded. We were her only customers.
