Taco Bell — Restaurant in Liberty Township

I ordered from Uber Eats tonight. A Crunchwrap combo meal with a black bean Crunchwrap, a taco supreme with beans (not beef) & a diet Mtn Dew no ice. I added a potato soft taco because why not. I got my order, I had two tacos & a burrito? I check everything. Nope. The tacos were both potato tacos, with ONLY dry crusty potatoes & cheese, nothing else (no lettuce OR sauce), I didn’t get my taco supreme. The mystery burrito that should’ve been a black bean Crunchwrap? A basically empty bean burrito that the tortilla was so dry it broke apart by barely touching it. Oh, my diet Mtn Dew no ice? I can’t tell if it’s diet because I’m upset, but also IT IS FULL OF ICE. I complained to Uber & got a refund, but also because this was so incredibly horrible, I called the store (nicely) & spoke to the supervisor (who was nice!) & just explained everything & expressed that I wouldn’t feed this to my dead dog or the stray cats around here. They (we) deserve better. He was quick to hang up (I don’t blame him, maybe short staffed, but also probably didn’t want to chat or hear me complain.)

This isn’t the first time this location has been utterly disappointing over the years either; the breakfast is always dry & they must fry their hash browns for days because they taste like nothing, but crunchy air. Every. Single. Time.

This store truly needs quality control ASAP. I’m not blaming tonight’s supervisor, but someone on the 7/25 dinner shift needs to be trained better or learn how to read. I will happily go out of my way to go to the Billingsley store from here on out. How disappointing.

Most of the time the food is decent. However, during the last few weeks it is pointless to even ATTEMPT to go here. The line is easily 30-45 minutes. When we went in once, the wait was just as bad. When we asked they just said they had no idea and that it was going to take a while. We used to come here around 2 times a week but now we can't. This place takes longer than a sit-down restaurant. That is no exaggeration. This is suppose to be a fast food restaurant... Fast being the operative word. What the heck is going on there? How is the manager not fixing these issues? Ugh, it just sucks because the other location is further away but we literally cannot go here. For real, they won't give you the food you order because you will never even make it to the window.

Also, the employees had the entire place stinking of weed (and we often see employees hanging out outside). If you have little children, do not take them there. I fear a risk of second hand exposure. Employees should absolutely not be doing drugs at work. During your private time, all to you and that is your business. But you should absolutely not be smoking weed during your shift. This place is very inconsistent. Some of the reviews do have positive stars and that’s good. But In my experience, 3/5 times it’s a bad experience because often times I’ll either have the order wrong or they don’t even tell me something is out of stock.

One time, I ordered two crunchy tacos and a chalupa and they only gave me a taco and a chalupa. The other time, I ordered extra sour cream on the nachos and they didn’t even tell me they had no sour cream left so all my nachos and tacos that day had absolutely no sour cream in it, which is infuriating because I explicitly paid for extra sour cream.

Then two experiences I had amazing service and great food, but because of just how inconsistent they are, this is a two star. I sincerely hope they get better staffing or just do something about the consistency because having it be a 50/50 chance of a good or bad experience is horrible. I’ll always keep going to the Taco Bell next to the 271 highways for this reason because at least they are consistent.
