My wedding ring needed a repair and I had gone to many Jewelers but they didn't even want to attempt the repair, thankfully Jim listened to me on how important my ring was to me and how much I wanted the repair done. Jim agreed to fix it and said it would not be easy but he Fixed It!!! I couldn't be happier with his work! Absolutely amazing! Very skilled at what he does. Jim has helped me multiple times with all my Damaged rings bringing them back to life and shinning them up before he returns them to me always shinning and more gorgeous than I dropped them off. Powell Jewelers is wonderful for repair work. After 20 years my wedding bands were in desperate need of repairs. I originally took my rings to Zales on Polaris. They wrote up my rings work order and shipped them off to a third party vendor for repairs. Estimated cost 1500. I get a call from Zales telling me they couldn’t do the work-their jeweler was not comfortable fixing the bends, replacing or repairing prongs-the whole thing-so I go pick them up. I was not provided much context regarding the abilities of the jeweler and they couldn’t answer any of my questions regarding why my ring was risky.

So, I set out looking for a small, private shop with a vision of a jeweler in the back-if it even existed in this day and age. And guess what? I found that here!!!! Long story short-they fixed my rings (onsite!) plus more AND is was LESS than half of the cost at Zales! Amazing craftsmanship and customer service! I’m super happy! I inherited a ring from my grandpa two years ago. I thought I really should do something with it instead of just leaving it in a drawer. So I took it to several jewelers and left because I still didn’t know what to do with the ring and didn’t feel like I was being heard. I remembered taking a watch into Powell Jewelers to get a battery replaced and thought they were really nice and that was just a battery. Well my memory serves me right. Jim and Paula listened to what I wanted and really knew how important this was to me. He ended up designing the most beautiful ring that is 100% me. I have been wearing it for a month now and this ring has been noticed and received more compliments than I can count. It is absolutely stunning.
