Los Recuerdos Colombian Restaurant — Restaurant in Lilburn

We prepaid tickets to attend an event at los recuerdos restaurant, the music was too loud that we couldn't understand with the people around us, the walls were vibrating, and even though we ask kindly to the people that organized the event and waitresses to put down the volume, they laugh at us, like if we were crazy. Instead of lowering the volume to a decent one for a colombian salsa party, we usually attend salsa events, and it has never being this way like in this place, they decided to up the volume like if they were deaf, plus most of the people were being a jerk, we used to like going there to have food, but unfortunately that time was different. We requested water and when we go to eat they usually have water for free, but that time even dough we pay for the ticket, they were asking us to pay for bottle of water, instead of giving us water, it is not like we were asking for alcohol, water is a vital beverage and it suppose that it should be offer as part of the ticket price at least. We do not recommend this restaurant if you are expecting a good service. We had to leave because it was being painful instead of fun, plus we did not...

The experience overall was alright. The worst part was the wait. It took about 15 mins for the server to come to us, another 15/20 mins to get our drinks, and then almost an hour for the food. We asked for a churrasco, picada recuerdos, and a mini bandeja paisa.

The churrasco was asked for medium well (aka a little pink), but it was more like medium rare. They did take it back and fix it though. The picada was alright. The items were good but some of them were cold by the time we got it. Also, there was a bit of a bar code of a fruit or something in the chicken. The bandeja was good. No complaints there.

Overall it was an ok experience, but we don’t know if we will be back. The waitress was sweet and attentive though.

Food was acceptable. Server was noticeable upset by the time we got there bc she was seated having a bite. The way she approached to us immediately ruined our first time lunch experience at this place. We asked for the Manager and when we were trying to express our experience, the server came to us laughing and then being really rude and she even followed us to the door saying “do you really think they would fire me for some clowns like you?” Worst experience ever in a restaurant (I wish I could give 0 stars). Absolutely embarrassed as Colombian for other people going to that place called “Los Recuerdos Colombian Restaurant” because I got the worst...
