My sister and I went to the McDonald's at 310 North Lewis Road Royersford Pennsylvania on Saturday September 8th 2018 at about 1:30 in the afternoon. We tried to place an order at the counter but the woman there said that we could only place an order with the new kiosk. We said we tried to use the kiosk we didn't like it and preferred ordering at the counter. Again the woman aggressively insisted that we use the kiosk because that was what this franchise required. Then I suggested to her that if it was required we would opt to eat at Burger King. She said that if she took our order it would only be a one time thing and that we better get used to the kiosk because after this they were not going to accept our future orders at the counter and that was that !!!!! Then she didn't even take out order told another employee to handle us. No customer should be treated as though they are a problem that needs to be handled. Since the remodeling of this particular McDonald's this has happened twice before by the same employee.My only hope is to try to reach their franchise offices. I'm tired of going to food restaurants and being treated as though I work there, and that I am obligated to obey...

I ordered a number 4D and the associate on the other end said “okay a number 1” which I responded back saying “no a 4D” which the associate, who I ended up finding out was a manager, said “okay well I’m not illiterate or re*”. I have absolutely no understanding as to why this associate was being so aggressive to me. I asked to speak with a manager which he replied “there is no manager on duty”. I went in the store to find out from several associates that he was actually the manager so he clearly lied on top of being insanely unpleasant. I’ve gone to this McDonald’s for years and never encountered this before or anywhere for that matter. Another manager who was there, while also saying she wasn’t supposed to be on duty and not in uniform, gave us the food for free while defending the other manager and said it was no use to call corporate because they aren’t corporately owned. She also said it doesn’t really matter about my experience because they get a $100 stipend every month as a manager for issues like this. Read moreProbably the hottest french fries I've gotten at any fast food restaurant in a long, long time. And those spicy, sweet chicken tenders were great. But all that overshadowed by that ridiculous ordering kiosk. Gotta work out those kinks. Do we order there, or at the counter? With one guy on the register, they were doing both. But it's not any quicker. While I was fiddling with the kiosk, someone ordered after me at the counter and got his order first. And then there's the people who struggle with the kiosk. I did a little. It's not always clear what your next step is. I chose to pay at the counter, instead of the kiosk. The guy at register couldn't find my order in his system, initially. He had to get help to find it. Which lead to panic on the faces of everyone in line at the kiosk. So, if you're going to force people to use the kiosk, then you have to force everyone to use it to order and pay. So much for the human factor. And this is supposed to...
