It was busy, we were greeted at the door and they took my number and told us it was about a 30 minute wait time. In 33 mins I got the text that our table was ready. Not to shabby! Our table was nice and cleaned. We were there and saw other tables getting cleaned. It’s nice to see they are spraying it down and not just wiping it with a wet cloth. Our waitress was at our table in a timely manner, she got our drink orders and was back with them in a jiffy. She asked if we want any appetizers and said she’ll have bread sent over. They came out pretty fast! the amount of time that our apps, salad and food came out was timed nicely. They weren’t rushing us out the door. It was coming out with enough time for us to enjoy and let each thing settle. The food was good. My boyfriend had the steak, but it wasn’t cooked to the right extent he had ordered. He said medium rare and it was definitely more rare than he wanted. If it was mine, I would have sent it back, he was still able to eat some of it. It took awhile for our waitress to notice we needed refills on our sodas, she also never brought one us a refill that was asked for. We were never asked if things were okay besides right when it had come out to the table. They were busy, but it would have been appreciated, we would have been able to ask for more ranch dressing for the salad and would have been able to let them know about the steak not being cooked correctly. Man that greeted us was super kind and professional, our waitress was okay, she did the minimum, the man who brought our drinks was outstanding, he was very friendly and professional, the girl that dropped off our food did well also. The guy dropping off the appetizer and salad must have been new. Overall it was a...
Read moreWe’ve gone to this outback before, dined in and had no issues. Tonight, my family wanted outback but didn’t feel like going anywhere. Fine, we’re having a lazy Sunday so we opted to order Togo. What a huge mistake that was… We ordered $90 worth of food. We got cheese fries, the bloomin onion, the new cheese steak dip, a kids meal, chicken fingers, and a burger. The cheese steak dip with tortillas chips had almost no cheese. It’s a dip. The whole point is to be able to dip your tortilla chips in it. All it was, was what looked like ground beef and enough cheese to just barely coat the bottom of the takeout bowl. After trying to scrape cheese onto 3 half tortilla chips the cheese was pretty much gone. The bloomin’ onion was so soggy I couldn't eat it. I understand it won’t be as crispy as when you get it in house, but we picked this up the minute the app told is it was ready and drove the half a mile back to our house. This looked like it was first to be made, stuffed into the Togo box and sat there for 30-40 minutes. The cheese fries were rock hard. We couldn’t even pull them apart, the cheese was cold and completely dried out. Again, probably the 1st to be made, put in the Togo box and sat there. For $90 I would expect the food to be at least edible. I was unable to eat anything that was ordered. My husband had the burger, my kids had their kids meals and the 3 things we got to share and for me to eat was inedible. I doubt we’ll even be able to reheat anything. After paying almost $100 for dinner I am now more hungry than I was before we ordered. And most of the food had to be thrown away. ...
Read moreWent there for the first time. I liked the option of waiting in my car for my table to be ready. They said 25-30 mins and sure enough around 28 mins the table was ready. The hostess said she'd get us silverware, she didn't. No big deal...our server comes in a timely fashion and takes our drink orders. She's obviously very busy, but upbeat and friendly. I ordered a steak rare, my husband orders one medium rare. After an unusual amount of time, we get our food (it's Friday, I get it, but we sat for a very long time just waiting for food). Mine is medium rare, and his is closer to medium well. We finally got silverware when I asked for it. When we got our food, I asked the runner for A1, he seemed put out about the request but said he'd brb with it. I ate all of my one side by the time I got a hold of my server and asked her for A1. She said of course and walked off. I finished my side and went into my potato, my husband was done his steak by this point. She came back around several mins later to check up on a different table and realized I still didn't have the A1 and went and got it. There were no drink refills, no checking in on us, and I had to ask for things like silverware and sauce. Overall, everyone's attitudes were fine and the food was good, but not cooked to taste. Idk, maybe I'd order from them to do take-out, but nothing more. I've worked in the food industry before, and I just feel like this Outback...
