Yesterday, we stopped at the Lincoln City Burger King and to say it was a bit gross is an understatement. First, as somebody who used to work at a local fast food establishment on the other side of town, I can say that I have first-hand knowledge of what should be common sanitary practices. The man at the register who took our order had very long, false pointed nails. (A huge no-no in any food industry!) I then watched as he would pick up the fries and bag them by reaching from the top so he was touching the top of the fries with his digusting fingernails and also his hands. I might mention that he was manning the front counter, so had been touching the register, cash, etc. all without washing his hands before handling food, and that standard procedure for touching fries, or cones with paper wrapped around them for that matter, is to touch the packaging, and not the actual product so one doesn't contaminate the food. The wait took a very long time as well, and the soda machine out front clearly needed to be serviced, as the soda came out weak. Then a man came in with his dog, and nobody told him that he had to take his dog outside-it was nowhere near a service dog and was another health code violation. After waiting for a long time, we were handed our crushed bags of food and also notified that there would be no toy with the kids meal we had paid for (which we would not have paid for had we known that to begin with) as they were waiting on a shipment. Based on the lack of staff cleanliness and lack of food safety we saw displayed, we ended up tossing our meals into the trash and not risking eating them. A waste of time and money, and I should have gone back in and asked for a refund. Will not be frequenting this establishment again and considering contacting corperate. Read moreThis Burger King is my local Burger King and all the employees are super friendly and do a really great job however, there is a General Manager here that knows nothing about customer service or satisfaction. Last time I went I ordered the two Whopper meal deal one without pickle and tomato and one with cheese. I was on my way out of town and stopped to grab something to eat for my trip. When I realized that there was no cheese on either sandwich and they had not taken off the tomato and pickle. I also was very disappointed because my fries were cold and the buns were soggy. I ended up not eating any of my meal except for the first bite of each I did drink my Coke. On my way home from my trip I decided to stop by and try to get a replacement meal I still had the full meal in a bag and when I went to the door to talk to the manager I was greeted with a very hostile approach to my request instead of offering to replace the meal as I requested, he in a very sharp manner if I could give him the receipt. at the time, I didn't know if I had gotten a receipt from the drive-thru window but I spent about 15 minutes looking for it in my car I did not find it. Regardless, he did not come back to the door and basically treated me like I was a liar trying to get something free for nothing. come to find out when I went to throw the burger and everything away I realize that the receipt was at the bottom of the bag which means, I had it the whole time. I really don't like the manager here, he's not friendly, he's not customer oriented and that's not the first time that he's been rude to me. Read moreI went to the Lincoln City Oregon Burger King drive-thru yesterday 06/13/2019. What a nightmare. I am so embarrassed for the owner. My order was pretty simple and consisted of 4 hamburgers and some nuggets. The guy working the counter had lost my order and tried to give me someone else's order. I'm guessing he gave mine to the people in front of me. The manager came over to help and just made things worse. She beyond rude and threw out the F-bomb as though it was my fault? They all scurried around for several minutes and then told me I need to pull forward to park. I told her I wasn't interested in parking for 5 minutes as this wasn't my fault. She eventually threw my money back at me and told me to get the F out.
To the owner of this business-- I am a business professional that manages several businesses in the service industry. I am really quite embarrassed for you. After this experience I will never eat at a Burger King again and I will be sharing this experience with the corporate office. I was calm and professional through this entire experience but your manager that was working the drive thru at 11:15AM was the rudest person I have encountered in many years. If this employee worked for me she would have been terminated on the spot, which is something I have never done before.
